I think I ordered three of the bird seed catcher. I I did it once and I thought it was done and now I I feel my bill is 2 is too high. I tried to call your number and all you can do is send an email. I feel I was scammed because this happened to me on another product. If you can't talk to someone live then I will never order from you again. You are right I'm a very pissed-off customer

Songbirdgarden.com- will not take returns

In a recent order from SONGBIRDGARDEN.COM, the small print on their return policy states that they will not accept electronics or cameras back. The order i made was still in the box completely unused. Their service department was rude and unaccomodating. I ordered two bird cams for Christmas presents and they sent me four. They said it was my fault that I didn't stop the order before it came. I can understand that some bird products such as worms and insects can not be returned but unused cameras?? Warn everyone not to use this website. They are not customer friendly.

I ordered a peanut bird feeder from these people, $58 including shipping. After weeks of waiting it arrived yesterday, what a worthless piece of junk, given that it was made in India I doubt that they paid more than a couple of bucks for it.


This customer complainting about Songbird Garden's return policy is either lying or factually wrong. Songbird Garden accepts returns within 10 days of receipt if the item has not been used.

They do not accept returns on electronic items such as cameras which is not uncommon. I would not want to purchase a camera from an online retailer that had been returned by someone! I have ordered from Songbird Garden numerous times, and have returned items on two occasions.

They have always been fair with me and their customer service has always been great. Joyce, Franklin, TN


It appears to me that you made a mistake when you submitted your order. I agree with the comment that you should have verified your order when you made the online purchase and contacted the company before your order was shipped.

Their no return policy on electronic items such as digital cameras is not an unusual policy. They sell only new electronic merchandise, not items that have been returned, restocked and resold. Looks like to me your complaint is nothing more than an attempt to smear a perfectly good company.

I have ordered from Songbird Garden mumerous times. They have wonderful products and have always treated me with respect as a customer and provided great service.

If they sent you 4 cameras instead of 2 it is probably because you ordered 4 cameras. They would not have purposely shipped you twice what you ordered. You should have verified your order before you checked it out. Or, at least if you felt you made an error after submitting an order you should have contacted them immediately before they shipped it to you.

As for the no return policy on electronics, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this.

Would you want to order a camera or another electronic item from a store who ships you one that had been returned by someone else? I think not!
