Solo communications

On my recent telephone bill appears a charge for solo communications which to my knowledge I have not ordered any new service for our phone and have no cell phone so why am I being charges $29.90 for something I didn't purchase. It is the weekend so I can not call number listed on my recent att bill. It seems to me if it is contained on att's bill they should be accountable for the charges not me. I have to wait until Monday to file a complaint with whoever is responsible for this charge and I am not paying it.

From your description, it seems like it is from http://www.solomobile.ca, not solocom.ca.

Solo Will Not Listen

My 3 year contract with Solo has expired; I've cancelled my account on January 22nd; they have turned off my service on that day; I'm still getting my full service bill PLUS activation fees for about $100 per month; the second bill arrived today. Has anyone ever had this problem and how did you find a resolution. I've been given the "run around" everytime I call customer service or go to the store (3 to 3 times a week)........I don't know what to do to get them to communicate with me. Any advice will be appreciated. Wanda Davies

Unrequested Services

I don't know what this service is or why it's on my phone bill. I did not request it and I don't know how to get rid of it. Please help. It costs me $12.95 a month. I thought it was a part of Verizon, but I found out it's not. How can I be refunded? I see this is not just my problem. I pay enough on my phone bill to have to pay bogus charges that the phone company is not aware of. This sort of behavior should be punishiable by law. Thank you.

sounds like you got slammed, that is a phone service being attached to your phone company.

I was also a victim of this scam. I called and cancelled the service and was told that I would be receiving a refund for the 2 years I was charged.

The operator was good and didn't try to deny that I had not requested the service. That was good.

But I'm still very upset about the company and its practices. Please alert everyone to check bottom of their ATT billing statement under enhanced services for an unauthorized $12.95 billing.
