Refund and exchange policy

Before placing this order, I specifically contacted the store to confirm the refund policy. I explained that I would be purchasing the shoes for my father in the UK and traveling there on September 13th.

I was told clearly that as long as the shoes were not worn and I had the receipt, I would be able to return them. The shoes were delivered on August 26th and were returned on October 22nd, only a few days past the 60-day policy. Considering that I had already disclosed my travel dates and confirmed the return conditions in advance, I fully expected the team to honor their word. The shoes remained completely unworn, in their original packaging, and were in resellable condition.

A refund was refused.

This demonstrates a lack of basic customer care and flexibility. There are numerous similar complaints against SoftMoc on BBB.

Your travel dates and other personal information had no relevance to anything. You did not follow the guidelines for their return policy.

Don't shop there avoid what I'm going throughThey've had the items returned via fed ex and confirmed almost a month ago and still no refundGetting the run around from multiple employeesI gave them my credit card information twice and everytime I call they tell me they don't have itThen they tell me they have to confirm items arrived ARE YOU KIDDING ME , ITS BEEN ALMOST A MONTH AND I HAVE FED EX CONFIRMATIONI DONT BELIEVE THEY WILL GIVE ME MY REFUND

Breanna is the worst manager I've ever encountered. She verbally abused me in front of many customers, threatened me with security, and had the audacity to tell me to act my age and to never come back to the Soft Moc store.

They deserve a -10 rating and should retrain their staff in customer service rather than attack the customer and put their negligence and disrespectful and combative attitude away. There's no place for abuse of a customer for simply asking questions so that I can resolve what I came there for, but I was threatened, so I walked away to protect myself from this belligerent store manager who has a lot of growing up to do and is very immature and can't handle adult business. It's very traumatizing to experience such a hostile environment. Be safe.

Hope this helps other customers, and hope you never have to deal with this unstable manager.

She will cost this store many financial losses. I will never return and subject myself to this kind of destructive, manipulative behavior. Breanna is unstable and ticking time.

Be careful when shopping there; she will lie and make accusations against you in any way she can to cover her *** but the truth will prevail. This company needs to rethink her job and loyalty to them; she's destructive and combative.

Hope this helps someone because I was definitely one of her victims. Stay safe.

It doesn’t. All you did was rant and not provide specifics as to your reason for being there and what exactly was said.

No rant Just my personal experience at softmoc again I will reiterate I was there to do a refund and did not have a physical copy and was told that's not a problem because they have my information in their system. Then I was told I can't get the refund I can only get a store credit then I was told to pull up information on my device which I did , then I was told I can't use that information I need a physical copy then I was told they just can't do the refund because policy changed two weeks ago so after all the back and forth with no clarity I was obviously frustrated and asked if head office might be able to clarify situation and asked for a number and name to which I received a very combative immature defensive liar of a manager who initiates loud screaming at me and trying to overpower me verbally insult me threatens me tells me to never come back all because I needed clarity I needed to understand how to move forward so that I can get my refund Due to her aggressive behavior and physical demeanor it was best for me leave for my safety and no I did not get my refund

Cant get my money back for something I ordered and it never came in. Apparently it was shipped to another buisness and now the store that I paid for it cant refund me.

I spent 50 minutes on hold with customer care and then they email me saying that they are closed on Sunday. I will be leaving a review on google

Staff couldnt redeem my points but after trying and retrying they discovered that the purchase has to be at least $30 and mine was $29.99

So I was one cent short.

Problem solved.

Staff wasnt aware of this limitation.

Return Exception Request

Hello,

I am reaching out regarding a return I would like to make for a purchase made on January 11, 2025, which was refused due to exceeding the 60-day return window.

Although I understand that your current policy stipulates a 60-day return period, I kindly ask you to reconsider the situation, as I believe this misunderstanding arose because I was unfortunately misled by your communications on two occasions.

First, during my visit to the store, an employee assured me that the return period was three (3) months, which corresponds to the 90 days for exchange or store credit mentioned on your website. I understand that the policy must have been recently updated, which likely explains the employees error.

However, this incorrect information influenced my purchase decision, leading me to believe I had more time to return the item.

Furthermore, during my online research, even as of today, I found that all pages related to your return policy consistently display a 75-day return period, which reinforced my belief that this period was still in effect. I have attached a screenshot showing this information.

Currently, we are at 62 days, which is only 2 days beyond your new 60-day window. Such a slight exceedance should warrant an exception, given the confusion caused by your own communications.

Therefore, I kindly ask, in the spirit of good business practices and customer satisfaction, that you reconsider my case with understanding. The item is new, unused, and in its original packaging, meaning it can be resold without any impact.

Given these circumstances and the inconsistencies in your communications, I hope that an exception can be made.

I bought three pairs of women's winter boots and then one pair of men's Doc Martens. The Doc Martens were too big, and I was told I could take them back, but upon return, I was told they had changed their return policy date.

So they wouldn't return my money or give me a credit. I phoned customer service, and the guy that answered the phone was really rude and was raising his voice at me, even though I was nice. The store clerks could even hear him.

His name was Cleve, so I took the boots and left. The store staff were nice.

Very bad customer service

I went to Sofmoc to buy a pair of boots for an event the next evening.

When I opened the box and tried on the boots, the employee working there had givin me to left shoes. So now I have to go back and was told I now had the correct shoes, again went home and waited a couple days and again opened the box, now I had one man boot and one woman boor, VERY UPSET ! WAS GIVEN A GIFT CARD !!!
