Diabolical, incompetent beyond belief , no customer service whatsoever

From the beginning to the end the experience was a disaster , incorrect measuring , non arrival of carpet , two lots with massive faults , no answer to calls or emails repeatedly fobbed off by uninterested so called customer services, will never go with this company again ! Please do not ever use them

Awful and frustrating

Ordered two sofas, given a delivery date when it's going to arrive. Phoned, sent e mails, replied to e mails to let them know I wont be in and to rearrange a delivery date. Nine phone calls and 15 e mails. Also used the online communication but to no avail. Finally got through to a wonderful woman called Carol in customer services who sorted it out really quick, polite and helpful.

Insurance fraud

We bought a suit from SCS back in 2018 when we bought it we were asked if we wanted to take out insurance for 5 yrs on the suit costing £250 to which we agreed, This year the springs 0n the recliner chair broke, so we phoned SCS and were told to contact the insurance company which we found out to be part of SCS where we told we weren't insured we then phoned SCS again and surprise, surprise we were insured but not for anything going wrong with the suit only insured for the fabric there is no way in the world I would have bought insurance for just the fabric for that price it seems from not having any insurance to having insurance this was put together after we complained then they turned around and said that they gave us a refund in January which they haven't done now they want to charge us £60 just to come and look at it and to pay for parts on top of that

Bad customer care

i bought a leather sofa from scs and they are *** customer care after service. after buying a leather corner unit, this was after a month on waiting 6 weeks for them to get back to me. after the month found ripped hole in back flap and glue on cover of seat. sent upholster who fixed it and made it worse. now after 2 months i have found another fault like leather coming of a squeaky unit. they told me they will send out same upholster and i`m not happy. will not give me new one or money back.

SCS worst furniture ever

bought a leather corner suite which was never right spent the first year arguing with SCS they came three times to put the suite right with sponge cushions inserted under the cushions, wrote to the head office got a bog standard letter back saying we should rotate where we sat to make it better ! I telephoned the manager who was very rude on the phone. Now the springs coming through the gap in between cushions have to go out and buy new furniture we definitely WILL NOT be going to SCS their after sales service sucks hope they go bust.

Poor after sales damaged goods

Bought a 3 seater and two seater from scs paid on 4 year interest free credit. "sofas took 4 weeks to arrive over the date given.e. 3 months arrived damaged took several complaints and phone calls to get a "technician" to arrive on a date i wanted. Waited another two weeks for them to come and fix it no joy phoned yet again assured that they would be in touch to fix the damage again no information or contact, have now told them i am rejecting the sofa and cancelling the credit agreement so we'll see if losing my business will concentrate their tiny lazy minds. Never have i done business with a more useless apathetic company who are quick to sell and then basically ignore you. Their customer services are particularly bad sending a reply to my letter of complaint with a bog standard letter a chimpanzee could have written they may as well have turned up at my house and stuck their middle finger up through my letter box and posted a dog turd as a final insult. I spent over a thousand pound with them and i now have to reclaim any money i paid and go and get another sofa. Oh by the way you are not buying your sofa from scs you are getting it from a company called sofaco who are equally apathetic and think that the customer should organise their lives around their technicians and will try to hide behind their diaries to get you to give up your working day to do their bidding. So shame on you both i hope you will go out of business as you do not deserve to be in business. Gosh that feels better very cathartic

SCS Bad aftersales

SCS Sofa's don't go anywhere near them they are happy to take your money but the moment you have a problem their after sales are *** are they do not want to know We have been waiting 9 months to have faulty goods replaced/repaired and still waiting Finally ran out of patience and want our money back suddenly they seem to have lost all knowledge of our complaint and we have to start again we will be taking legal advice shortly and want warn anyone thing of parting with their hard earned cash to SCS - DON'T they are c**p and there products are substandard and c**p. Don't do it.

hello we are also p....d of with scs we pay cash 2 yrs. ago for leather furniture and have had nothing but trouble with it.

Three times weve had the foam cushions replaced and are waiting for them to be done again, it has now become very uncomfortable to sit on. The aftersales team dont want to know, they just keep giving us excuses, we want our money back I wonder if anyone has succeded to get there money returned.
