Voice my disgust
Based on my experience with him, I dont trust this guy. He constantly denied conversations we had.
Totally flipped conversations when it benefited him.
He froths by the mouth. Totally disgusting.

Bad experiences
I dropped his mediation course. Got my refund thanks to the help of Professor Douglas Hay.
This year our daughters attended the same preschool at JCC.
We encountered his wife belligerently yelling at the overworked and understaffed employees. We considered calling Jewish Child and Family Protection services.

Unethical and anger
Allan taught the most useless course in my entire post education years. Professor Douglas Hay helped me get a refund after the lengthy.
Recently, when our daughters attended JCC daycare, we came across his wife and her belligerent yelling.
She caused emotional harm to my daughter. Recommended for the Israeli director to call CAS.

Awful service. Completely incompetent. Save yourself the aggravation by not using his service.
Delaying probate by incompetence. Inefficient processes and procedures.
Moves slowly and ineffectively, creating undue stress on clients, and all parties involved, in order to pad his fees. My advice is to retain another lawyer who cares about moving the process smoothly and swiftly through probate in order to avoid frustration at every turn, like Sarah Smart of Bloom Lanys.

Unprofessional! Avoids clients and does not return calls
I hired Allan Socken to handle my will. Unfortunately it was poorly written and with most of my intentions left out.
Upon trying to get a hold of Allan several times, I gave up. He did not return any of my phone calls or emails.
I see why others are frustrated with him. I feel their frustration when a lawyer you hire refuses to listen to you and your needs.
Allan Socken Attempts to Contact Me
I've just spoken to TPS Division 13 and they've advised me to make my intentions clear with the hopes that I would not be contacted again. After receiving a Facebook message from Kim Appotive Gale on behalf of Allan Socken last week, I felt violated and harassed.
I don't feel comfortable talking with them as previous conversations led to lengthy battles. At the same time, I don't feel comfortable with them stalking me on Facebook and trying to catch me for extortion. I am trying to be a law abiding citizen. I have no intention of harassing anyone.
I have no intention of making any contact with Allan Socken after my terrible experience with him as a lawyer. I just want to be left alone. Please respect my decision - I don't know why we need to rehash something that occurred 3 years ago. I hope I've made my intentions clear.
Like I said, this message is not to harass anyone. It's to state that I don't appreciate any comments about my son and looking at my Facebook profile, especially when harassment was cited.

Discrimatory & Unprofessional Socken Law Practice
I first met Allan Socken, Principal of Socken Law, 5 years ago. I utilized him for representation on real estate deals as well as one traffic ticket.
The first time I utilized him, I didn't understand his retainer policy. I put his name down as lawyer on file. Instead of explaining the process, Mr. Socken bragged about how he had phantom clients, despite him representing me for a real estate deal once before, and how he was going to create a sitcom called, "Noodles To Go".
The plot would go as such, "I wouldn't be able to pay his legal fees. He would have to still represent me. In order to pay for the fees, the judge would sentence me to be his butler." Funny? I think not.
If that was not enough, he once disclosed private information to an unauthorized party at a local bar. Then, he had the guts to tell me about it. When I wasn't thrilled about it and said I would report this to the Law Society, he told me to go cure my Asperger's Syndrome. Stay away if you know what's good for you.
P.S. The man is never on time and is late 4+ hours without explanation.

Clearly Mr Socken wants to resolve this matter. We are willing to resolve it with an apology and retraction of slander.
