Neuroscience is a NEW major being offered by the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Colorado, Boulder (http://psych.colorado.edu/~nrsc/). Co-Directors of the Neuroscience Undergraduate Program, Don Cooper Ph.D.
(Associate Professor) and Jerry Rudy Ph.D (Professor of Distinction) are leading the first Introduction to Neuroscience I course this fall 2010. Neuroscience is the fasted growing major and is a subdiscipline of biological sciences that spans a number of departments at the University (including Integrative Physiology, Psychology, Chemistry, and MCDB). Students are encouraged to obtain greater academic breadth through interdepartmental course selection.
