Horrible! Stayed at my house for 4 hours.

Super awkward, one woman is in charge of advertising and getting a kid in the house to clean, once you agree she drops the kid off, the kid showed me every gizmo in the vacuum and vacuumed my kitchen, and the living room and kept making calls to register for a contest and then his boss (Mr. Smyth) came by and insisted on coming into my room to vacuum my bed, then he left and the kid continued to vacuum until he called a woman who told the kid that she would give me the vacuum for a discounted price, after I refused sheer gave me another offer then he continued to clean until he called her again and she gave me a lower offer. Finally I asked the kid to leave and eventually after he was done he slowly packed up his things and admitted to me that his boss dropped him off and he would have to wait until his boss was done with a sale to come pick him up.

One hour later someone came by to pick up the kid and the vacuum. DO NOT let these people in your house!!

Hey all... I had a Kirby sales person dropped off at my door last week.

She said she wanted to clean my carpets and vacuum my floors for free.. so i was like.. "go for it" 3 hours later after getting yelled at by her manager because I could buy the same system on eBay for $500 and they where trying to sell it to me for $3400. I was told that If I bought from someone else that I would regret it.

The vacuum would end up breaking and costing me more money to fix it than if I would have just bought from these door to door peeps blahh blahh blahh. I laughed at him and told him he wasn't going to screw me.. but thanked him and his employee for cleaning my floors. They both where pissed and left all these circles of yucky stuff all over my coffee table and computer desk.

Didn't say hi, goodbye, kiss my *** or nothing. Really this is how we run a business? What was really funny is when she would call her "boss" and ask him if she could give me a "special deal to become part of the Kirby family"... Once again i rolled my eyes and chuckled on the inside.

The sad part is the general public are idiots with no common sense and fall for this ***. I invited them into my home and I'll be damned if they are gonna make a fool out of me in my own house. On the flip side... the Kirby vacuum/shampooer is an amazing product!!

Bought one off EBay for $485 w/free shipping just before those sales people walked out the door. And don't think I didn't tell them I did :) PS it works great and comes with a 3 year warranty. If Kirby is as wonderful as they say.... i'm sure 3 years will be plenty..

parts are cheap on eBay as well. STAY AWAY FROM SMYTH ENTERPRISES (KIRBY DEALER)
