Over charged for delivery

- - CS said late orders may not speed up delivery.
I placed an order Friday June 27th at 1.49am in the morning and received an email stating my order would be sent the next shipment. It wasn't.
I paid $24.99 for expedited shipping and will only receive it July 7 at the earliest. Tried contacting smokes canada and was told my order was placed late Friday and that its normal to pay to get orders within a certain time and not receive them any faster than if being mailed through canada post.
