Smitty's Garage of St. James, NY Ripped me Off
I brought my Car to Smitty's Garage to get Fixed. They told me they could Fix it so I went ahead and let them Service my Car. They call me and tell me its Done and I can come pick it up. Well the Same Problem came back on my ride Home. Of course this was really upsetting. So I call them and they tell me to bring it back. Well I had to bring it back to them THREE TIMES. On The Third and last time The Owners - Gregg & Bobby tell me that they Recommend I just take it to a Dealer. Smitty's Garage is a very small Shop and apparently they lack The Equipment and Mechanic Expertise to do The Repair. So I ask them for a REFUND of what I paid. They tell me NO. I couldn't believe my ears. Up until this point I was very patient with them even after having to bring my Car back to them THREE TIMES but this was the final straw. I pointed out that I I was a Loyal Customer of many years and that He would lose my Business as well as my Family's. He said He didn't want me as a Customer. The Owners of Smitty's Garage have NO Customer Service skills but on top of this they are also Horrible Mechanics. So even tho my Car was NOT FIXED They insist on NOT GIVING A REFUND. I would Highly recommend to anyone looking for CAR REPAIR in The Smithtown or St. James Area to stear Clear of Smitty's Garage. SMITTY'S GARAGE is The WORST MECHANIC I have ever dealt with.

So, what was the problem they could not fix???

The Repair was for Dashboard Lights - specifically The Stability System.
Smittys Garage really did the wrong thing by me. If they were not able to do The Repair that's all they had to say but they should have told me this from the very start. Instead they Charged me and lied to me. They said it was Fixed Three times but the problem came back each time on the same day or next. On top of this they Refuse to give me a Refund even tho my Car was Never Fixed.
My next step is going to be Small Claims Court.
