- - Paid $1,600 to fix a boat leak.
- - They do not test leaks after repair.
- - I was charged to store the boat for the year.
- - David says testing costs extra.
I just paid Smith Boys Marine $1,600.00 to fix a leak on my boat. The service manager told me that they DO NOT test the boat for leaks after the work has been completed.
I also paid them to store my boat for the year. The service manager states he will have to now charge me to test the boat to see if their repair that I've paid for worked... The service manager "David", told me that he cannot look at the owner in the face to justify testing the boat for leaks without charging me. I asked him to have the owner call me and then he got loud and said I can call him.
I brought to his attention that I would review the service, he said that "he doesn't care". Unreal.

User's recommendation: Maybe if you buy a new boat from them they treat you differently
