This company advertised free shipping under the product description of the item that I was purchasing
- - This was my first and last purchase from Smash It Sports.
- - They charged shipping despite the US free shipping claim and refused to honor it.
I originally disputed the shipping charges through my credit card & then I showed that the seller put a return to sender & has refused to issue me a refund. I also showed my credit card their advertisement that showed free shipping in the United States, my credit card company issued me a refund.
These guys are a joke. They advertise right underneath the product in the description & then charge me for shipping. It’s unbelievable that they get away with this. I told them I am disputing their shipping charge & they vindictively stop the shipment & put a return to sender on the shipment.
I did nothing wrong other then dispute the shipping I was later charged for.
I stand by my review, These guys went out of their way to make it difficult for me because I questioned their free shipping advertisement in the description of their item. I ended up purchasing from bats unlimited & received the next day very close to where I live.
I read the description of the item before I put it in the online cart. It stated FREE SHIPPING in the US under that specific product that I was about to purchase. I made the purchase online & sure enough they charged for shipping. I reached out to them & they said it was a computer mistake on their end.
Their mistake is not my mistake. They refused to honor their agreement. Instead they blame me the customer, saying that I should go & read all of their policies. Who reads company policies.
I saw an advertisement & read everything about that item & made a purchase based on that item. I will never purchase from them again.
I got great prices from bats unlimited. Better customer service.
