Reverse polarity in AA batteries

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Smart Living AA batteries bought at Stop & Shop in Harwich, MA 02645.
  • - Installed four in a bathroom faucet; three showed reverse polarity.

I bought a package of Smart Living AA batteries at the local {Harwich, Ma. 02645} Stop & Shop, installed 4 of them in my bathroom sink automatic faucet.

The faucet refused to operate properly, so I checked the batteries with an Everyday certified battery tester. Lo & Behold there were three batteries that had a REVERSE polarity! I was an electronic technician for many years in the distant past and I have never heard of or experienced that problem. I am telling you folks about this for I thought you might want to know that this is happening, and you can take proper steps do whatever you do with this info.

Otherwise I am happy with these Alkaline AA batteries. Thanks for listening.
