Slingshot SEO banned me from Google for $120k!
Slingshot SEO is a company based out of Indianapolis. I used them to assist me with our social and seo initiatives. We used them for approximately 4-5 months. Our results looked like they were getting better, but as soon as I saw some improvement, 3-4 weeks after that I noticed that I was starting to get a lot of useless inquiries from our website. Another 2 weeks passed by and then all of a sudden I noticed our traffic dropped over 80 percent. I cried foul to Slingshot SEO, they said that I should be patient and that they knew what they were doing. My friend quickly pointed out their techniques qualified as blackhat strategies. I confronted them about this and they said that wasn't true. Another 10 days, and I disappeared from the search engines completely. Now my website doesn't even show up for my company name. I spent over 120,000 USD over this 5 month period of time and got nothing. Slingshot SEO refuses to even call me back. I am looking at legal options now against Slingshot SEO.

Slingshot SEO
When a company does your SEM work and does not allow you to view your own data, then yes, like Slingshot SEO, you're working with a blackhat outfit.
Future potential customers, read the fine print...a few times. Contact some of their former SEM clients and you'll find out this is business as usual for Slingshot.
