SlimChews and the Company that sells them are a total SCAM

This product (Slimchews) and the company that sells them, is a total scam. My father is a pathologist and with the help of his lab, we tested slimchews for their so-called secret ingredients and we found Slimchews to be nothing more than glorified candy coated star bursts. I subscribed to their product, falling victim to their $1 FREE TRIAL 30 day, money back guarantee SCAM and only because I paid for the product through my PayPal account was I able to obtain a charge back refund through PayPal. I was also able to stop this SCAM COMPANY from charging my credit card over and over again. Other's, as you will read about, have not been so fortunate. I reported this company to the better business bureau and also the FBI criminal Internet division. This company also post's positive reviews on web sites like this so as to spin a positive perception of this SCAM PRODUCT. I took the time to look up other web sites reviews and I found the same positive reviews to be from the same people such as the following: Maria Garcia on 13 Nov 2009 at 2:48 am [ I'll have to disagree with you all. I read what I was agreeing to when ordering, and I'm fine with that. I realize that a diet program isn't going to be free. The product worked great for me, and it's better than taking pills. I've lost 15 lbs on the program.] This review is a total lie and a scam to try and convince those of you who want to believe in their scam product. I am NOT some disgruntled customer wanting to get something for FREE. I thought this product would help me curb my appetite before and after my regular meals. As the saying goes, hindsight is always 20/20 and in this case*****BEWARE .....DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT YOU WILL REGRET IT THE REST OF YOUR LIFE ....*****BEWARE!

Impossible to deal with a company that does not acknowledge your complaint, and desire to terminate

I have been trying to stop the shipments of slimchews, and the last one I received was without any indication of what company was sending it, did not acknowledge my desire to stop getting the product and it is very frustrating . i feel I have been scamed, and I hope this report will end my contact with the company.... I also need a refund for the last shipment, as I received it very late, because of the postal service not delivering anything for almost 2 weeks due to the level of snow in our area...I don't know what else I could have done so that my request to cancel was not ignored....

The Scam

The Slimchews Scam: What your not told when ordering your "Risk Free" trial order is after you place your order and you call their toll free customer service line :1-80*-372-**** to cancel all further orders, you get an automated phone message telling you to either email the company at support@***.com or email them using their customer service link tab on their web site. You cannot talk to anyone in person PERIOD> The company obtains your email address when first ordering and the moment you place that order, the company blocks all further emails from you as "SPAM" so they never reach their email server, making it impossiable to cancel your order, let alone obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from them. Without this number, Slimchews will not process any returns. All product returns must be received in their warehouse prior to the 15th day after the date your product was shipped. It took 17 days for my order to be received so I had already used up any trial period. Starting on the 16th day from my order date, the company started again, charging my PayPal account. The first charge was $5.95 ($1 + $4.95 S&H) made the day I placed my order. The second charge , 16 days later was for $43.95, the third charge was made 14 days later for $49.90 and the charges would not stop had it not been for the help I received from PayPal. I did end up getting all my charges credited back to my PayPal account. Thank you PayPal. There are countless horror stories of veterans, elderly, disabled individuals being charged hundreds of dollars by this company, many to which have never even received their initial risk free trial order. I did receive two email replies from Slimchews. They read as follows: 1. "Do not e-mail us again or we will sue you for SPAM". @. "Why don't you read what you agreed to you ***". If you are one of the many who have been scammed by this company, you can fight back by contacting the FBI> Type into your search engine, and you will be linked to the FBI's Internet Crime Center. From there, simply follow the links to file your complaint. It's very very easy to do, totally confidential and takes less than 10 minutes to file. I am encouraging everyone to file a complaint against as together, lets make the internet a better, safer place to conduct honest, "Risk Free" business.
