Slide/SuperPokePets.com has NO customer service
I was introduced to SuperPoke! Pets through MySpace a little over a year ago. They expanded to having a website, www.superpokepets.com so that you could play with the virtual pets of people that were not just from MySpace, but from Facebook and Hi5. You could also create a pet without having an account on one of these social sites. On November 24, 2009 I contacted the customer service/technical support through the email we are provided. I explained that I was missing some gold. Gold is purchased with actual dollars, either through a paypal account or a credit card. Since that date, my account seems to have some glich. My friends do not load on MySpace when I am trying to play the game. When I try to play with friends on www.superpokepets.com, the play options do not respond. I have emailed the customer service 4 times. I have received no help. I did receive 2 auto-reply letters stating they have received a high volume of contacts, but will contact me shortly. In one message I stated that if this these problems were not addressed in a timely matter I would report them to MySpace, my credit card and the Better Business Bureau. I received a message from them with a spreadsheet attached. In theory it showed how I spent all of my gold. The problem was, the information on the spreadsheet was incorrect. This company will not refund your money if you buy a gold item by accident. People have had their PayPal accounts or credit cards overcharged. When we contact the company, they say they will not refund our money, but not to contact our credit card company, like what happened to me. The CEO, Max Levchin, seems not to care that this is the case. He was a founder of PayPal and sold it to eBay before starting Slide. There have been items they released to decorate the pets home were not well researched. The Australian flag was not correct. There was a tiger that was released to celebrate Australian Day. I didn't know they had tigers. There was a pet that was in a wheelchair. As someone who is disabled, I found this to be in VERY poor taste. This company does not care about its customers. They do not listen to out concerns. They do not try to solve our problems. They add new features before they fix the old ones. I love to play this game, but since I can't play, Slide has made it so I have to quit.
SLIDE does not respect their customers
I am a player of SuperPoke Pets. We are current trying to get them to listen to us and fix some of the many issues in the game. So far all we have received is nothing! Many players have recently quit and many more are are preparing to. At this time until they start solving some of the issues I would not recommend in playing this game. If this is any indication of how they operate all their apps then I would say stay away from this company as a whole. As of writing this we have had no true feedback in our quest for answers.
Ignores customer complaints and problems
Slide is the parent company of may applications for social networking sites such as Myspace, Facebook, and Hi5 among others. One of the apps that they are in charge of is Super Poke! Pets. In this game user adopt a virtual pet that they can then play with and buy items for. Items can either be bought with coins that are earned by: playing with your pet, playing with friend's pets, or friends playing with you, or you can buy premium items with gold. Gold is purchased with actual money in the amount of 10 for $1.00. After making a gold purchase your payment information (either pay pal or credit card) is saved to the system. Because of this there have been many cases where a person accidentally has purchased gold, but is not allowed to return it. There are also cases when gold is purchased, but the customer never receives the items that they paid for. These problems, as well as system glitches that have yet to be fixed, are all either ignored by SLIDE, or people are told that there is nothing that SLIDE can do. This company is showing that it cares nothing about its users.
