Waikiki shopping Plaza is located at 2250 KALAKAUA AVE, across from the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. This center is not friendly to Europeans.
Seems to prefer Japanese tourists with restaurants and shops. Not friendly to Locals either and bad reviews at Trip Advisor for Waikiki Shopping Plaza at 2250 Kalakaua Ave. Security personnel and Property Management behave like they came from the 17th century, lording over peasants - that is todays tourists and visitors. Unacceptable levels of service and BAD reflection on WAIKIKI shopping experience When you walk in you are greeted with dirty Starbucks tables, a scowling security guard in a blue uniform.
Looks like security guards are the same ones as the Skyy bar when we lived there a year ago.
Skyy Bar, revolving restaurants also has poor reviews on YELP. Bad management - worse we have seen in Waikiki.

Hide Sakurai, owner of Sky Waikiki Raw and Bar is a fool for hiring the type of security apes from Waikiki Business Plaza. Some folks just dont get it, the asian owners will always look down on descendants from africa that came to the islands.
Just another version of plantation mentality. Not that the folks that work as security at Waikiki Shopping Plaza will know the difference.

Place is Dead - owners of the Sky Waikiki Bailed - loves money more than the landmark icon - Guess PPP loans was not enough for the greedy owners. Fitting funeral to an overrated - price gouging, phoney hip place pretending to be something Hawaii is not.
