This review is based on my true experience with Dr Debra Hartley of Sky Lakes Medical Center 3000 Bryant Williams Drive Klamath Falls, OR, and if my honest review is removed again I will post it in several more places because removing HONEST reviews simply because you dont like it is a disservice to us consumers who have no where else to go to air our grievances.

Yes I am a tad disgruntled seeing my review removed. I placed it on a very insignificant reviews platform thinking not many would see it, except I did hope Dr H saw it.

I first started to write at HealthGrades, but the review is too long. Since my old review is gone now I must speak my truth here, and Im grateful I can write all that I need to say on this platform. I attest this is a 100% honest review from a real former patient. Dr Hartley when I first started seeing you I was at the end at age 50.

I completely gave up after just losing EVERYTHING (career, home, friends, pets, etc), and I was not happy with you for not setting me up with assisted suicide (my depression and hopelessness were that bad). Somehow though over the course of two years you managed to show care towards me which apparently was all I really needed because I decided to try one more time to muster the courage to pull myself out of the muck.

I was working so hard to lose weight. When I was younger I could drop 10 lbs easily but that extra 75 lbs of depression I was carrying was a much bigger mountain to climb. I remember I was getting desperate after plateauing, & I couldnt lose anymore weight than the 30 lbs I had accomplished.

I was poor yes thats true, but that DIDNT MAKE ME A THIEF Dr Hartley.

I then made a drastic decision to park my car and start walking, thats how bad I wanted to lose weight. I needed your help to get a bus pass, and I remember saying something sarcastic about being entitled to a bus pass because of my disabilities. UHOH the look on your face made me feel like I said something very dirty, but my feeling was exactly this if there was a benefit I was eligible for I wanted it. My life was extremely difficult living with several disabilities and believe me we dont get many perks in life but proverbial black eyes from people like you just about everywhere we go.

If there was any benefit for the disabilities I had absolutely yes I wanted it, but I still cant understand how my feelings earned your disdain. I wasnt lying to qualify for a bus pass right?

Dr H, I had many doctors that liked me before I moved to Kfalls. I HAD EXCELLENT RELATIONSHIPS WITH MOST of my former doctors in my past (less periodic specialists). I even sent you a letter I wrote to my former doctor in prison, and I also wrote a letter to the judge in his case in his defense.

I sent that to show you I really cared for my former doctor of five years until I moved. I was informed you said in a staff meeting about me Id better keep her. Who else would take her? Your former office manager told me that, and it was actually shocking that she was unaware of the horrific statement she had just made as if I were invisible.

Then your tech Wayne talked down to me like I was a special needs child. He had an oxygen meter and said see I cleaned it like you like it. Huh? DOESNT EVERYONE EXPECT SANITIZED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT???

HUH doc???Well it was clear I was no longer welcomed there, but before I could find another doctor I had a horrific accident. WITH A CREDIBLE WITNESS I was hurled airborne over my personal shopping cart as I was walking down a badly damaged street, and landed flat on my back. You knew I had arthritis of the spine, but instead of care you yelled at me loud enough for the parking lot to hear go find another doctor. Doc I attempted suicide because of you, BUT BY GODS GRACE I FAILED.

you wrote in my permanent chart notes she walked normally to the table. Lady there wasnt room to walk. I stood up, pivoted and turned to sit down on the table. You blatantly lied in my chart notes, AND you refused to report I turned in over 50 expired Vicodin that same day which absolutely was indicative of my integrity (but oh no that wouldnt support your accusation of fraud).

UNBELIEVABLE. Then the final time I came in I brought ALL MY KILL PILLS AND LEFT FOR GOOD (and even then you didnt document honestly, but implied I was there just seeking pills ha ha ha after I had just left all of my pills there ha ha great one doc!).

Shame on ANY doctor who gives themselves permission to lie NO MATTER WHAT THEIR REASON IS. Praise God I have not taken a prescription drug other than antibiotics for a tooth infection since that day of saying a final goodbye to the worst doctor I ever had. A real female Dr Jekyll/hyde, at least that was my experience.

You helped me so much initially then somehow you regretted it, and proceeded to beat the living crap out of me until I finally left.

Prescribing statins??? I saw an evil look in your eye, but thankfully my discernment dodged that bullet (Side note to anyone with high cholesterol losing weight combined with red yeast rice pills CHEAP $$ lowered my cholesterol 50++ points and WITHOUT SIDE EFFECTS Whoot Whoot !

It was vitally important for me to tell you

this, and I hope you never again do what you did to me. Only by Gods intervention did I survive your attack. Im so glad I left you, and no you sure arent worth my life.

Youll be a better doctor for it, oh and please stop lying in chart notes (if I ever have ANY problems with your notes you may be subpoenaed to explain how angry you were at me that day, and your emotional outburst most likely contributed to your skewed written account of my REAL AND VALID PAIN. Lets both hope that NEVER happens ).
