Burned by laser hair removal
I suffered first/second degree burns at Skinful Med Spa and I'm now left with hyperpigmentation over several parts of my body. They have been negligent at best, which was evident in the lack of patch test that was not done which is a standard practice for a qualified Esthetician.
Also, the day I notified them I was burned, the owner (Carolina) quickly rushed me off the phone advising me that the person (Laurie) who performed the laser services would call me back but instead she left for the day. It's been nearly 3 months since the burns and I have made several attempts to work with the spa to rectify their error, but they have not been receptive or done anything to make it right.
Disappointed with the Serivce
I purchased a deal for Coolsculpting at Skinful Med Spa located in Toronto. I bought this deal for great price since the procedure is very expensive.
Its been couple of weeks and I have not still got the treatment. Every time I have been calling, they were rescheduling me for another date. All I got were couple of I am sorry and that's it. Very slow, horrible management there!
Shame on you Carolyna!
I Googled their spa and read some reviews about them and most turned out to be negative. The ones that are positive I am pretty sure the staff is writing them to save their face from disgrace.
Skinful Med Spa stole the money
Recently I bought a Coolsculpting package (50% OFF) from Skinful Med Spa, located at Queen Street West. Now around 4 (!) weeks passed and I am still unable to get the service!
They tell I should wait for bit longer for the appointment as they have loooooong waiting list. Today they told me they just don't have Coolsculpting equipment to perform the procedures right now...
And they refused to give me moneyback, they just pushed me to "exchange" the money to some of their other services, which are severely overpriced!!!! I have no idea how to get the money back, so stay away of this spa, especially from the manager Carolina!
I too have had this issue. I purchased a groupon voucher for 4 tri-polar treatments, and I have called and left numerous messages to schedule an appointment and I cannot get into contact with them.
I have had the right mind to get in contact with groupon and let them know what is going on as they are selling vouchers for an inadequate company. I am kind of scared to go there now and get this procedure performed.

We have no association with Louise Talbot. Skinful Med Spa is privately owned. This is cyberbulling and harassment ; legal action is being taken and the authorities have been contacted. You are on notice to cease and desist as this behavior will no longer be tolerated.
