Ipl Hair Removal Review
Went to skincare clinic at ladypool road for IPL hair removal as I bought groupon voucher but was really disappointed with the service..... Unproffesional staff and absolutely badly done IPL as I didnt see any difference even after 6 sessions... Although had it done before elsewhere you can start seeing results from second session.

Poor customer service
I went to the clinic in good faith for some treatments i booked. Just like the other customer i waited around for a hour before getting seen to, i called the numbers provided where i got no response. When i questioned the staff about this they got really annoyed for asking and yet rudely 'do you want ya treatment or not' i found this very unacceptable, this is not how i would expect to be treated as a paying customer As i was very dis-satisfied with the lack of knowledge and info on products i asked to speak to the manager who was painting her nails in a corner and told her colleague id have to wait until she could be bothered ad she wasnt in the mood today. I was very appauled by this and the sheer lack of professionalism I would never recommend this company as they are a disgrace, how they are still open i do not know I will be contacting trading standards as i was never given a refund for the treatments i didnt have
Most unprofessional manager EVER!
I purchased a Groupon Voucher for Six microdermabrasion treatments a couple of months back. I booked my first treatment via phone for the 15th July. The staff member who booked this this appointment over the telephone was pleasant enough but not very professional as she answered other calls without putting me on mute. Upon my first appointment I entered the clinic to find nobody at reception. I waited a whole 25 minutes with not a person in sight. As a result I rang the landline, which was answered by a staff member who told me she was alone and with a client upstairs and I would have to wait. Eventually I received my first treatment which was very rushed and the staff member was very unprofessional. She was very nosy and moaned about being on shift alone. Also whilst having my treatment a female knocked on the door saying there was a very unhappy male who had been waiting a while to he seen to. On my second appointment I was unable to gain Access to the clinic as the front door appeared to be locked. I called the landline number on the front of the clinic several times with no answer and also called the mobile number provided several times which was switched off, I left a voice message and a text message asking to be contacted. This time I waited around for approximately half an hour. The land line was eventually answered by a staff member once I reached home who explained she had just commenced her shift and did not understand why nobody appeared to be in for my appointment. She rebooked my appointment for the following day and gave me the contact details for the manager. I attempted to get hold of the manager on several occasions but was unsuccessful. My third appointment left me fuming. I arrived at the clinic once again with nobody in site. After sitting around for 10 minutes I was seen to. My treatment was carried out in a professional and friendly manner, but it came to light my first treatment was not completed properly and I was not given the aftercare advice I should have received. The manager was on site who I requested to talk to. Whilst rebooking my appointment the manager NATASHA was having a personal conversation on her mobile phone within a meter distance away from myself. During this conversation she used unpleasant and obscene language. The staff member seeing to me had to apologise on her managers behalf and told me not to take any notice as she is talking to her husband. Eventually I had to approach the manager, as she did not seem to want to come over to me. As I started explaining the above poor service I'd received the manager became very defensive and rude, and presented the most unprofessional language I've ever heard from any salon/clinic manager. I was told by her she was not willing to listen to cricism from a groupon customer as she was getting peanuts for the treatment. She complained of having problems with Groupon customers and how she was going to take her promotional offers off Groupon. When I complained my first treatment was co ported properly I was told to stop complaining about a s***ty micro as its not a big issue. I was called various unpleasant things all for complaining about 'her' clinic. Natasha the manager was very out of control to the point her staff were trying to push her to the back of the salon. The lady seeing to me was happy to return my money to me but was told by her manager to not dare return it. Rubbish Rubbish Rubbish! I do not recommend this clinic quite simply because the manager has no communication or professional skills. Instead of apologising for numerous errors on their part she became defensive, rude and out of control. I was refused a refund and pushed out the shop for arguing for my statutory rights. I will be contacting trading standards and seeking professional advice. I've researched the clinic and have found their Facebook page where there have been customers who also have not had numerous telephone calls answered/returned. I have also found the clinic to have large amounts of promotional offers on various websites such as Groupon, woucher and many more this can only mean the clinic is not doing very well. The manager not returning my money to me even though my statutory rights were not met (other than being illegal) shows they really must be struggling somewhat. If you want the service they boast about on their website do yourself a huge favour and save yourself the stress and headache by going elsewhere. Like a lot if little businesses the manager may be ok until you complain. I will be naming and shaming the clinic and manager wherever possible!!!!!!! To save clients the stress.
