I received poor customer service on the Skil SPT99-11 table saw
I purchased a Skil SPT99-11 table saw, which is Skil's top of the line table saw. All I need is a zero clearance insert which I could purchase online for any other Skil table saw, but not for their top of the line table saw. This is very poor customer service.

20V battery failed just around the warrantee expiration
20V battery will not charge...charger is working. Battery was probably not working prior to the warrantee expiration, but I only noticed the battery problem a month after the warrantee expired.
The SKIL division of Chervon (parent company) has refused to do anything, despite offering them various options. The battery was only charged a few times during the warrantee period and is only used on occasion.
The replacement cost is now $50.00 and the original purchase cost was $30.00. The batteries and charger have a 2 year warrantee and the tool (compact reciprocating saw) has a 5 year warrantee.

One time use of Tool purchase.
Used my Skil sheet sander 1 time when purchased 3 years ago. Tried to use it the second time recently and the clip that holds the sandpaper is broken.
I called Skil and they were of no help. Told me I have to buy a new one, and they can't help bad customer service.

Very poor customer service
I have a skil 3335 scrol saw that was only a year and and a half old and cannot be fixed because you discontinued the circuit board. this was a replacement for a previous skill that did not last very long either. I will no longer buy any skil products
