My Skagen's men watch
My mens watch has stopped working. I have changed the battery every year since i bought it.
The last battery lasted only 3 months. Currently, it will not work even with a new battery. I hardly wear the watch because i have many other watches.
This watch was defective in operations when i bought it but i thought it was a battery problem, and i wanted to believe in the brand name that Skagen was a quality product.. It has taken me 3 years to realize that your product is of poor quality.
I would appreciate you replacing the watch.

I have your watch model 856LXLDRD and have to tell you that although the face of the watch is beautiful, the construction of the band is the worst I have ever seen.....It is glued to a metal piece, that, under normal wear separates and makes the watch useless.....also the design is such that you cannot replace the band with a "common" watch band using standard pins.......In other words it i useless.....I need you to replace the band or provide a sufficient credit to replace this model with one of your standard watches.....It is unreasonable to assume that the burden of replacement should continue to fall on(305 the customer when in fact the original design was in fact just plain bad....Please help! I can send pictures if in fact that would help you understand my problem....

Website let me order something that was not in stock, after heavily pressing their offers to me via mailing list. Made no attempt to even honour the order.
So I have to start my present search again from scratch now. They also did it one week ago with a watch my husband bought with a great discount (through their Fossil site, but they are the same company) Don't waste your time.

I returned my Ska gen watch for repair under warranty for the second time on August 26, 2020. After two weeks I called and was told it wars received in Dallas.
On September 22 I called to inquire and was informed it was received at the warehouse but not logged in for service. On September 22 I called and stated the supervisor contacted the warehouse. That supervisor, Edgar told me he would call me back but never did. Due to previous problems with Skagen I have notated each and every call and name.
I called again on 9/23 and after waiting on hold for 45 minutes I was told the watch was lost and I would be issued a credit. This was not done. I called again on 9/23 and was told the watch was shipped from the WAREHOUSE WITH TICKET NUMBER 555**** and would be delivered in 5-7 business days. I called again on 10/28 three times and put on hold.
I finally spoke to Fran and then Ijaz. I was told the watch was out of stock but I had not been notified . This was ticket # 571**** and style SKW6006. I called on 11-4 and spoke to Alzin after 25 minutes on hold.
I was informed the ticket was closed but again I was not contacted. I was told I would be sent an email. No email came. On 11-4 I spoke to Azz____.
I explained everything again and he promised to call me back after reviewing the notes. He did not call back.I called on 11-5 and spoke to Darck. He told me the order was not processed and gave me a case number of RP538122US. He promised three times he would call me back but did not.On 11-7 I called and spoke to Shaheen at 2:38PM.
He promised to submit the order but said it would take 5-7 days for me to know if it was successful and told me to call back again. EVERY TIME I WAS PROMISED A CALL BACK I DID NOT RECEIVE A CALL. TWO TIMES I WAS PROMISED AN EMAIL IT DID NOT COME. The last ticket # was 578****.
Why is it taking over two months for me to receive the promised watches? I have read very bad reviews of Skagen customer service and if I do not hear back in two business days I will submit this review as well to social media. So far, nothing I have been told is true.
I will like likewise join others in submitting a review to the Better Business Bureau, Facebook, Pissed Consumer, Elliott Advocacy and other sites. I prefer to have my issue resolved in a timely manner but will have no recourse if I do not hear backSkagen

I have a customer with a broken crystal on a skagen watch. I tried to contact Skagen customer help by using their web site and sent them a note explaining the problem and asking how to buy a replacement crystal so I could satisfy my customer.
Unfortunately, no one at Skagen answered my need.
I will tell my customers to never buy Skagen watches. Instead go to Seiko or Citizens because I have worked with them right away many times over the years.

I have had too many credit cards compromised online by such gimicks. Maybe PissedConsumer.com is the perpetrator.
Whatever - I will not go there. My watch may never be fixed, but that's better than having rogue charges show up on my credit card.
I own a Skagen watch that uses an unsual band. The band has worn out. The company neither makes these bands, nor knows of a supplier that can provide one. Thus I can't wear a perfectly good watch.
DON'T BUY SKAGEN WATCHES. I own three Skagen watches.
The one I obtained first is now a few years old. Skagen tends to design and sell watches that use unconventional bands, and some of those often don't attach with the standard watch band spring pins, but with tiny screws, So, for those models, regular replacement bands won't work. I went searching for a replacement band for this older watch, which otherwise works fine. Nothing is available anywhere in stores or on the internet.
I contacted Skagen. They don't sell a replacement band for this watch, not do they have knowledge of a supplier who sells one. So, they made the product, but once the band wears-out you're stuck with a perfectly good watch that can only be worn with a shabby-looking, worn-out watch band. Wearing such a watch is certainly not my style.
Skagen's customer service folks were nice enough, but offered no solution to my problem. I found the names to Skagen's top three executives in America. I wrote to them several days ago and have received no response. Nobody at Skagan seems to care that I bought three of their watches (I have even given a 4th one as a gift), and I am very unhappy with their low level of support for their products.
Even the top executives absolutely don't seem to care that there is no replacement watch band for my Skagen watch. I will certainly never buy another Skagen watch, and my advice to anyone is DON'T BUY SKAGEN WATCHES.
Preferred solution: Replacement watch bands for my watch, for now and in the future.
