Think twice before doing business with site5.com. They try to bill me monthly for an account that I cancelled 2 months ago. I am now on hold for 50 minutes at their customer support phone line. I am not alone. There are multiple complaints posted on the internet. I dispute the monthly charges each month. My credit card company supports the dispute. Charges are credited back. My account is charged again the next month. This is getting ridiculous. I wish there were a way to start a class action suit. I have discussed this with my lawyer. I am surprised that site5 is still in business. The chat line is worthless. I spent 40 minutes on the chat line with a support rep who had no idea how to respond to a simple issue.

Site5 Scam Site Review Scam Site 5 VPS Scam You saw the great reviews for site5 along with the free month of hosting and site5 will even transfer your website for free? Then you looked at their plans that say UNLIMITED, why wouldn’t you sign up, right? Guess what? I don’t blame you, however I will warn you, site5 Reviews, Site5vps, site5 a month free is a scam and this scam is still going on since I left 6 months ago. I signed up with site5, I was awe of everything mentioned above along with the customer service. A red flag should have went off when I was hounded by site5 to submit a review, a review that would count for your experience as a whole. 2 days is not ample time to give a review as a whole for a webhost. This is why site5 has so many wonderful reviews. When I signed up with site5 I had under 10k unique views a month and under 25k pageviews. That unlimited does not mention points. 1 point equals a view. I tried everything and let site5 know the plug ins they suggested in chats were taking up more room. I was then told I had a bad script, I hired a tech person and he discounted me after reviewing my site because he thought I was being taken advantage of. I was then told jetpack was the problem and I refused to remove it because it’s jetpack, I was forcefully upgraded to a vps. I emailed jetpack and they told me to get another host and warned I would be forced again to upgrade and that happened. They also directed to this page about the bloat myth https://bruteprotect.com/the-jetpack-bloat-myth/ My traffic one month was 20k unique views with 40,000 pageviews and was told I would need to upgrade to a vps5 $180 and a vps6 $200 I would be safe. Mind you, another month it was only 4k unique views with 13,000 pageviews, traffic was up and down. I was shopping for hosts during this, showed them everything, was told by several hosts they do not have points and the plans I was directed to were basic plans. I am alerting customers so this won’t happen to them. What I paid site5 a month is what I pay wordpress.com for a year with 250,000 unique viewers and 500,000 pageviews. I don’t know what happened to my other complaint. If this was submitted twice—was not intentional. I am limited to a certain amount of characters, feel free to ask questions. site5 reviews site5 scam
