Verified Reviewer | Melbourne, Victoria3 x 120A/h Lithium batteries were 50A/h with foam filling rest of box. Refuse to return phone call for refund
In Mid October 2018 I bought 3 120A/h lithium batteries and at end of November after 2 weeks use they failed. Their call centre gave me number of warranty man named Norton but he never answered phone or replied to messages I left.
Call centre wouldnt give me address to return batteries to.
After numerous times trying to contact them I was forced to buy new batteries for caravan.
Some time later I cut open the battery boxes and found 4 cells and the rest of the box filled with expandable foam.
Marked on the battery cells was 50A/h. I paid $800 for each battery and they were not what I ordered or what was on box.
- Dishonest - gave false business address
- Poor after sales service
- Misleading or false product desriptions
Preferred solution: Full refund

Verified BuyerBe absolutely sure you will receive what you think you have purchased.
I Purchased 5 x 200Ah Batteries AGM but as has been the case with so many before me they tested much less (100AH).
I sent numerous emails prior to purchase requesting details ie. Dimensions and weight but they only responded to 1/2 the questions and when I sent another requesting the other half they did not respond.
In the end I made a purchase all went well they arrived promptly but then it started.
As I was not present at the time of delivery they were unloaded by others and had I been present the batteries would not have been unloaded as they were undoubtedly physically not what I had ordered. (too small in size and the biggest giveaway of all, way too light)
I got in touch with Siriusforce via the ebay system as to the problem, listing what 200AH AGM Battery specifications should have been and what I regarded was a solution to the problem. (Replace with the appropriate batteries or refund me in full.) Their response was to ask me to tell them if I could offer a possible solution that would be agreeable to us both...DUHH?
(Here is where I asked ebay to step in)
The end result was return for refund which Siriusforce said they would organise but then just as quickly couldn't.
Sirius force then asked me to get a quote and let them know before they would accept reimbursement of costs to me, when I did there was no response other than to tell me to return the batteries for refund.
I then figured they accepted this quote so I therefore arranged and paid for a courier company to take the batteries back to Siriusforce but on the day they were to pick them up Siriusforce sent connotes for me to attach to the packages as they now have organised transport.
Now I have paid for another company to do this so now I had to cancel them and try and get a refund from them as well.
I notified Siriusforce the packages were ready for pick up but then they tell me I have to get them to the depot of the company they had organised again more expense to me and time wasted.
I have just now notified Siriusforce I dropped the packages to the depot this morning their response make sure that the batteries are still in original packaging and I affixed the labels they supplied again DUHHHH! I have never dealt with such an inept company as Siriusforce.
They definitely need to improve their public relation and communication skills.

Verified ReviewerDo not buy MAverick Batteries from these guys
This company uses several pseudonym: Siriusforce, Combined Solutions eoverstocked @***.com or Geo Sek
The company sell Maverick Batteries as well as luggage and other items but this is about batteries. The batteries are sold as AGM Deep Cycle 135 Ah batteries and weigh in at about 27 kg.
A real 135Ah battery weighs at least 34 kg. I sadly bought three of them and had them in parallel. Combined after two days they could not run a caravan fridge and an LED strip light overnight. As a physicist, I selected the batteries based on calculations to run a 240V Inverter for a period of 5-15 minutes a day, plus a 12 Volt fridge and up to 2 x 150 mm LED strip lights for 3 days without recharging.
I designed in a 3 x safety factor, that is one 135 Ah battery should have been able to handle the load. The system had 2 x 250W Solar panels and the car alternator also charging the batteries and was usually electrically trickle charged every day or two. The lies this company told to avoid paying a warranty claim beggars belief. Email contact via their eBay site told me to contact Norton and gave me a phone number.
I became convinced "Norton" was a code word to avoid this customer and string them along until they give up. I hate being cheated so I did not give up and spent well over 30 hours pursuing these bastards until they finally refunded my money 6-months after the initial contact once facing a trip to the NSW small claims tribunal.
Should you have the misfortune of buying from this company here is helpful information:

When I escalated the matter to NSW Fair Trading the company reps lied to them saying they were dealing with the matter and would replace or refund the batteries after they were returned for testing and they had been in contact with me to say that. It was a total bare-faced lie and were caught out as Fair Trading contacted me saying my .. “concerns were brought to the attention of a Representative from Combined Solutions Pty.
Ltd. The Representative advised that they have been in contact with you and they will be happy to assist in repairing replacing the item and if they cannot repair or replace they will issue a refund”.
I told Robyn that this was not true and they never contacted me.
I rang Siriusforce/Combined Solutions on Thursday and received a hostile reception whereupon the person who did not identify themselves but I believe to be George (the Manager and owner) hung up on me, and when I eventually got through again, he made it clear that he had no intention of reading any emails or honouring any assurances given in them. He required the batteries back for a week to have them tested and the Warranty would not be honoured if there was sulphur build-up or the batteries had not been charged every 2 weeks with electricity. When I protested that was not disclosed upon purchase or until this phone despite the company knowing my van was in storage in NSW with all internal electricals turned off he was quite rude.
I asked if I could have a copy of the company’s correspondence with Fair Trading but was informed that could not be given for privacy reasons.
The details of what Fair Trading was told in relation to my problem were disclosed to me by Fair Trading in an email. The contents of that email are below:
"Dear Mr Hennessy
I refer to your correspondence dated 25 June 2019 regarding Combined Solutions Pty. Ltd.
Your concerns were brought to the attention of a Representative from Combined Solutions Pty. Ltd.

Following this, I rang the company again and said I would be taking the matter to the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal upon which I was contacted and given an address I could return the batteries to for assessment.
I left the batteries with them for 3-months while I went to Canada. The company did not contact me with the result of their assessment and failed to respond to my email requesting the finding of their battery assessment. After returning from overseas the final insult was they tried to pretend they refunded the money via Paypal on August 21st, another lie quickly verified by a phone call to PayPal, who requested they provide a transaction ID, which obviously they didn't have.
After two more useless timewasting phone calls to the general number, where they said they would request Transaction number etc fro accounts, who could not be phoned and only contacted via email.
More BS. I rang George the manager the next day after accounts did not respond to my email and spoke to a lady who put me on hold for 5-minutes before putting me back to yet another unpleasant employee who put me on hold for 15-minutes after which I got a real credit to my PayPal account.
If you have to deal with these bastards then contact me via email kerry.w.hennessy@***.com and I will happily share more details about how to force these guys to refund your money.
Please note the 1-star ratings are only that high because zero stars is not an option!
- Wide range of products

Preferred solution: A tten apology and the batteries advertised at their true Ah rating.

Avoid like the Black Death -
Ordered 2 x 200ah "AGM POWER" Deep Cycle batteries (they were cheap $299.00 ea) when they promptly arrived (they had no specs markings on them ).
They were 28kg each not the 40kg as advertised. Further research divulged that it was patently obvious, at that weight, they were not 200ah batteries. (They were also 1/3 the price of 200ah batteries). They were consigned by "geo sek" - sounds chinese right ? - but actually an alias of George S********.
Unfortunately AFTER I ordered, I found reputable internet references to many hundreds of official high level complaints against George..
I sent a very strongly worded "without prejudice" letter of demand via email; that I would issue proceedings and claim considerable Exemplary damages on the basis of a course of appalling deceptive arrogant conduct, in addition to my outlay.
My purchase price, return freight and kilometrage to freight depot and back were all repaid very quickly.
I then spend 3x the amount to get "Full River" batteries which were slightly discounted.

OMG, have same gmail email when ordered from ipower.energy. DONT BUY FROM iPOWER Energy In my case, stating its a 300AH battery with the same 27KG, but they couldn't provide anymore than 50AHrs.
In my case, I ordered 4 and used in a 48VDC battery bank. Over $1600 worth.
Seller under pressure from PayPal will accept the items back, but I have to pay freight.. Will be looking to recover costs.
Hi. I stupidly bought the 200ah batteries from ‘ipower’ website.
They don’t list any dimensions etc on the website. I’ve received them and they weigh about 12 kgs (norm about 60kg), they are almost half the physical size, and when I tested one for 200ah, it came up 25%. I’m annoyed that companies can get away with selling such fraudulent goods in Australia. Now I have to go and courier them back at my cost, then under their returns of 20% stocking fee if not returned as is and basically up to their discretion as to if I get full refund and courier paid for.
They claim 20% for labour for restocking but what about my time and labour for receiving, unboxing, testing, re-packing, taking to courier depot and waiting? Especially when they knowingly sent something far short of what was advertised.
I’d say these batteries are 80ah at best. Will see how the refund process goes, and I have started dispute through PayPal.
Hi all, the only way to get quickly money back from these guys (eoverstocked@g****.com or many other scam name) is to activate charge back with your credit card provider, it sucks that you have to change cc after it. Once you have the money and the battery back they will turn to good customer service even pay for the return shipment....possibly should just threw it away.
Reyna, You mention you have a few more details about this Company / Man on how to get your money back. Wondering if you can help me.
Fintan I suggest you send the company messages on their website. I did this 6 times in a row after I had emailed them within a few days.
If you paid through Paypal, it should be easy enough to get your money back. Open a dispute in paypal include a pic of your invoice and any other pic applicable. PayPal will send what your complaint is through to the seller and they will have 2 weeks to respond before you can escalate your dispute. I got a message from the seller within 2 days that they have sent me a refund.
I didn't believe them since Reyna had a problem with that. So I checked PayPal and sure enough the refund was there along with a message from seller: "your order is cancelled, refunded in good faith." We were so relieved.
But they had not sent the battery yet anyway. (After reading this review I'm glad they hadnt)
Hi it looks like i am having the same trouble as you guys. bought 2 lifpo4 120ah of them and they only yield 43ah.
Trying to track them down to give the details to NSW Fair Trading.
Reyna id love to get in contact with you. Thanks
Hello, We are having trouble contacting ipower.energy which is one of the names this company goes under for a lithium battery we purchased through them which we still have not received though they said it would be delivered in 2 days. Tried emailing them and sending an online message but they do not respond.
Do you have their contact phone number?
please email me or reply to this message. Thanks.
Yes email me and I will give you the info if they *** it out again. Best of luck they are they worst company I have ever dealt with, I ended up buying genuine Lithium Ion Batteries direct from China.
Cost me over $1000 each for the 150 Ah ones.
Worth it because they work. Business Owner on the lease of the business address is George Phone 02 8488 **** Technical staff Norton, Johnathon and Manus Phone 02 848* *** Trading name: Combined Solutions, but trade as Sirius Force on eBay Business address: Unit 6 2 Eden Park Drive Macquarie Park 2113 old trading address was 85 Mars Road Lane Cove
George miising digits inphone number **** is 8116
Thanks for that. I was so glad to find your post about your experience with this company.
I contacted paypal to start a dispute. The company refunded my money within 2 days, through PayPal saying they cancelled my order.
I am so relieved as I am sure if they sent the item we ordered it would not be a legit lithium battery. We are now going to purchase a battery local.
