Poor service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have never been so disappointed in a specialist in all of my 50 years. I had a procedure done on 9/24 in the gastro dept, I was initially misdiagnosed with GERD.

After the results from the exam had come back I was diagnosed with Colitis. The medication that was prescribed to me did not work for my new dx. I was told to schedule an appt for November 10, might I add that I have been in severe pain, with nausea and lack of appetite. I told them I couldnt wait that long with my symptoms.

I was told to come to the ER and Dr. Vineyak would see me when I got there. Stayed in the ER for 3 hours waiting to only find out that he left for the day and after that told I needed more labs done. Needless to say I left without being seen.

Why do I need labs again if you gave me a dx 3 weeks ago. Please if you value your health dont come here, they could care less about their patients.

Came in worried about Covid and they tried to commit me

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

The day of the incident I had gone to a doctor I see often he just so happens to be a psychiatrist. When he saw on my arm the result of my Covid vaccine which was a reaction 3 weeks from Day of the vaccine they call it Covid arm and I also had swelling on my face.

That along with other symptoms prompted him to tell me to please go to the hospital and let them check it because it may interfere with me getting my second shot he actually said that it could be way worse than just a reaction

.I worked this hospital for 18 years it was a mess then but nothing prepared me for what happened I walked into the hospital. I go into triage and I tell the nurse my doctor told me to come here because Im having a Covid reaction then I made the mistake of telling them it was a psychiatric doctor. Triage then sent me out to wait to get bloodwork which is regular and I thought it would be routine ED visit but no.

Took my vitals and sent me back in the waiting room and in about three hours called me back in to the examination room. Little did I know I would not be getting an examination I would be getting a jumpsuit and the security guard demanding my phone , dumping things for my pocketbook ,asking me if I had sharp objects or weapons on me.

And then the nurse chimed in do I feel as though Im a danger to myself or others. I felt I had explained why I was there everybody has problems and they should not be making assumptions.

I had still had not seen a doctor. No one assess the swelling no one did anything but asked me if I was a danger to myself or others which I answered . I answered no.

Im here for this this Covid stuff and I feel horrible I have MS anyway so maybe you could help. Meanwhile even before being seen they have me ready to be placed on a psych hold.

Normal admissions do not take phones. When I was in this gown and things were being tossed out I was spread eagled arms out and checked with a metal detector. For Covid.

I asked why they.were doing this to me I knew in no way shape or form this was protocol. Finally the little turd of an intern walked in asked if I was a danger to others nothing about Covid issues. . I yelled no look at my arm.

He didnt. Five minutes later they told me to get redressed and toss the underwear they had given me. Also returned my wallet and phone I never saw the doctor again. This was tantamount to me as I had been through this kind of abuse before.

It is border line malpractice. These people heard psychiatrist and profiled me as a mental case. It has brought so much trauma back its unbearable. The hospital is dirty and I was putting myself in harms way by going.

Although there is not even alcohol wipes there.

Avoid this hospital at all costs. They killed my dad and they will do the same to you. I am dealing with this violation esp of being scanned like a criminal. I am reporting them to every agency and they will not get a dime for this visit.

I am calling tbe insurance company also.

Dont go there. Sinai, llifebrige health will kill you inside or our
