Why did your brother not cash the check and give you the cash. "simple solution">
He lives 6 states away from me - my bank isnt in his state and his isnt in mine. banks can no longer ( according to fed regulations) accept checks made to one persons name- with a different address on the check. His bank could NOT take it nor mine, even if they wanted to.
Problem has been resolved already. Company contacted and provided a very good resolution.
Well the original check was sent back and another replacement was supposed to be sent out- its now 3 weeks later and nothing returned to me.
