Never ending NIGHTMARE with Simple Cremation making it NOT SIMPLE AT ALL since November / December 2017 at the time of my fathers death from cancer!! My complaints have not helped and asof today i just received a letter from them 2 1/2 years later!

Its date May 13th 2020!!

RE: My fathers remains Why did you wait 2 ½ years to notify me you still have his remains?

I received your letter dated May 13th 2020 on Sat May 16th 2020 leaving me 10days from date of your letter to make arrangements to get my fathers remains.

Salvatore Joseph Parisi is my father and I have sent you my birth certificate to prove this back when he died in Nov 2017.

Your company told me they were not going to keep his remains and then never reached out to me for 2 1/2 years???? Why????

Your company caused me and my family a tremendous amount of stress and grief back then, that took its toll on our health! Your office was threatening to give my fathers ashes to strangers etc. IT WSA A MOMENT IN TIME I CAN NOT FORGET!

He died of cancer and I had to deal with his reverse mortgage, property from hundreds of miles away, and dealing with estranged distant people that interfered with my right at the person in charge of all his end of life issues .

All the while taking care of my disabled aunt who is now 81 and a at risk person regarding covid-19.

I am also an at-risk person regarding Covid-19.

We are locked down and must continue with SHELTER IN PLACE

I only go out with respirator mask, goggles and gloves to grocery shop and run certain errands 1 to 2 times per month in our local community within a 1 mile or less radius.

My family will continue Shelter in Place as per our Governor Newsom requests for at risk people like us.

WE can not drive to Las Vegas from Los Angeles to deal with these remains at this time.

Knowing we are in a Global and National state of emergency still and Covid-19 has no vaccine, I am sure you can make the necessary arrangements to hold my fathers remains until it is safe to go and about without the worry of catching Covdi-19.

Im wondering why you chose this moment in time to reach out to me and explain that my fathers remains were still at your location. During the Pandemic of Covid-19 is an odd time to make such requests and demand on your end!

Today I called your office as per Roberts request in his letter. I spoke to one woman who I told to please have Robert contact me asap. She said he was at your office and was with a family and that he could call me back after that appointment.

I said OK!

Then I received another call from your office from another woman rather then Robert. She said he was with a family. I again requested he call me back after he is done.

She said OK. And without dismissing herself politely SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!

This leads me to believe that NOTHING HAS CHANGED WITH THE WAY YOU DO BUSINESS!!!

I would like to speak to Robert Gardner FA#166 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, before the expiration of that your letter discloses, about this entire situation since his name is on the letter I received!

You failed to resolve the final issue at the time if Dad's passing. You're passing the emotional football off as a covid-19 issue.

There have been 2-1/2 years passed during which you should have obtained final resolution. It never helps to leave anything undone after an unhappy event.

I went to them at a very hard time in my life. My girlfriend of 8 years passed.

I told them what I wanted they pretend to listen but don't. Told them I wanted dead certificates they did't order them so now I have to. I told them I wanted her Urn engraved they didn't, when I ask they said I never ordered but I did. Now they says if I want an engraved urn I can buy another one have it engraved and they will transfer the ashes.

They don't listen they just want to get your money and get you gone. When i came in to pick her up they took care of my in the lobby didn't even have me go to the back like they even gave a *** Stay away if you really love the one you want taken care of.

Ripping off a family at one of the worst times in our life.

Our son died in Largo,Florida. We are from another part of the state.

This was sudden and unexpected. The funeral home charged us over 4,000 for a plain and simple cremation. Our son had requested cremation and no services. As difficult as his wishes were, we did as he had asked.

Grief stricken, we did not question the cost we were charged. I will not name the funeral home that did this. But, I swear this is the truth. When we returned home, we went to a local funeral home and arranged our final cremations.

The local company was kind, straight forward, and very helpful. My husband and I prepaid for our needs. The cost was $695.00 each.

I wish I had known about this company at this site. My advise is to research before need.

Which company does it for $695.00, I need to pay for mine ahead of time too. I don't want this burden falling on my family.

Careless, thoughtless cremation services

During the most difficult time of my life, Simple Cremation (Las Vegas) took what was already an emotionally difficult situation and made it much worse by 1) losing track of my mother, 2) delaying, for 19 days, her cremation 3) shuttling her remains back and forth between facilities 4) finally finding them "in a closet" and 5) not apologizing. They are unorganized, uncooperative, unsympathetic and completely unprepared to deal with the death of your loved one.

While they sounded "legitimate" at first telephone contact, things went downhill fast when they lost track of my mother's body and her remains. Initially, they tried to placate me by switching "consultants" from Carla to Jackie, but that probably made things worse because they are in two different locations which led to the missing mom crisis.

I DESPISE this business.
