Simple Energy Billing Department Review from Saint Clair Shores, Michigan
Horrible sales skills at the door. When I told him I did not pay the bills he asked me if I was the husband implying that I should be paying the bills he then asked me to show him one of our bills so he could confirm we were getting the discount.
Seriously? I'm gonna show a complete stranger( who looked high) our personal info upon request???
I don't think they train their people. First impressions are a beast.
Simple Energy in Lebanon, NH is deceptive and sells poor quality fuel
It is always the customers fault. Simple Energy fuel oil won't ever admit a problem is theirs, has refused deliveries without cause, placed notes in their file like "customer will add kerosine" that were never stated, and uses deceptive practices to buy lower quality fuel that causes problems, then charge for home calls to fix (and charge for) problems caused by their lower quality fuel.
They have a growing reputation for being very difficult to deal with.
First, they save money by buying lower quality fuel with sludge in it. Then they sell this to their customers and when a problem happens, gladly charge for a "service visit".
This is a company that delights in beating up their customers rather than solving problems. It is always the customers fault.

I have worked in the fuel oil industry for many years. Mr.
Smith's comments are unrealistic and can only be meant to harm this otherwise reputable fuel provider. There are no fuel distributors that are specifically selling "lower quality fuel with sludge in it". Sludge is usually found at the bottom of an older in-home storage tank, where a small amount of natural contaminates (found in all heating oil) collects. This sludge can sometimes be disturbed when the tank is filled.
Mr. Smith might want to consider installing a new filter and/or having a new tank installed to prevent more service issues from occurring.

Never read such unsubstantiated drivel as what "Mr. Smith" wrote.
I've dealt with Simple Energy for about 4 years now, found them completely professional and totally reliable. The notion that a business--and of all places in a small community in the Upper Valley--would buy low quality fuel and then pass it on to their customers is frankly ridiculous. They'd be out of business in a season...
When my tnak unexpectedly ran out on a sunday afternoon in the middle of the winter, they had a truck at my house within an hour. What's the real ax you have to grind "Mr Smith"?
I am one of the two founding owners of Simple Energy. The slanderous comments made by "Mr.
Smith" are baseless and inaccurate. I am unable to verify any transaction between Mr. Smith and my company and encourage him (or any customer) to contact me personally to resolve any issue. Simple Energy offers only the highest quality products and we're very concerned with our reputation - I am happy and proud to personally guarantee customer satisfaction.
I respectfully request that Mr. Smith give me the opportunity to address his concerns before publicly assaulting my company with inflammatory falsehoods
Rob, how would I contact you? I would like to have a discussion. I've spent about $4,000 with your company since moving here in February 2016.
