FRAUDULENT CHARGES, DISHONEST

MY TRACTOR TRAILER WAS IN AN INCIDENT. I CALLED SILVERBACK FOR ROAD SERVICE AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT MY VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED TO BE REPAIRED AT THEIR SHOP.
AFTER DROPPING THE DRIVER OFF AT A CLOSED TRAIN STATION AT 2AM, THEY DROVE THE TRACTOR AND TRAILER BACK TO THEIR SHOP BUT CHARGED ME FOR 2 TOWS CLAIMING PENNSYLVANIA STATE LAW REQUIRES COMBINATION VEHICLES TO BE TOWED SEPARATELY.
THEY KEPT MY VEHICLE 16 DAYS TELLING ME THEY WAS WAITING ON PARTS AND AT THE SAME TIME CHARGING ME STORAGE.
FOR THE AMOUNT OF WORK THEY ACTUALLY PERFORMED I WOULD HAVE PAID ABOUT 500 DOLLARS. THEIR TOTAL BILL WAS OVER 3200 DOLLARS.

I am writing to inform all who reads this that Silverback Towing was one of the best companies I have ever used. Not only were they courteous, and understanding of my situation, but they took care to make sure that I was ok with everything that was going on.
That type of care is hard to find, and I have yet to see it in any other companies. They were nice, and I never once regretted calling them.
People can say what they want, but I will, and have recommended them to anyone, and everyone I know.

Towing Company refuses to release my personal property.
- - Not at fault; the other driver was drunk and fled.
- - Car was towed 16 miles away by Silver Back Towing; personal effects held until I paid $240.
I was involved in an auto accident and I was not at fault,the person that hit my car was drunk and left the scene.
The police officer that handled the accident had a towing service, Silver Back Towing is located 16 miles from the accident scene,when I went to get my personal effects out of my car I was told that unless I paid the towing bill of $240.00 my personal property would be held until I paid up.
I am not sure who I am pissed off at more,the city police who had it towed so far away when other towing services were closer,or silverback towing for keeping my things.

Yea, We got our truck towed in the State of PA too... DOT red flagged us..
The tow company came out and had 2 wreckers which we didn't understand, we asked the towing company about it and they told us that they can not tow the truck and trailer as one unit, I thought they were trying to get more money out of me, so I to talked to the DOT officer and he said they CANNOT tow the truck as one unit.
So I got stuck for paying for two tow trucks.. :eek
