DO NOT EAT HERE....THEY TRY TO SCAM YOU!!! I took my mom here for a late lunch on Monday May 27th. The food was okay, but when it came time to pay for our bill the owner gave us a bill that was MUCH higher than it should have been. Our total was over $70 when we had only ordered a couple small items!! We asked the owner for an itemized receipt which she failed to have and did not want to give us. When we asked her for one, she began pulling totals from her head without even looking at the menu. Knowing she was wrongly quoting prices to us, we asked to see a menu so we could add the totals ourselves. After adding the totals ourselves, we found she tried to charge us at LEAST $2.00 EXTRA for EACH INDIVIDUAL ITEM; which totaled being overcharged by $30!!!!! When we approached her about it she continued to be dishonest and try to say that "That is an old menu," even though that was the menu ourselves and the rest of the people in the restaurant were given. Instead of comping our bill like she SHOULD HAVE, she instead charged us the total we came up with on our bill. Even though we totaled the sales tax high at 9%. I DO NOT recommend eating here!! The owner does this EVERY TIME we order from Silver Pond; Even on delivery orders. And forget asking for an itemized receipt because you won't get one!
