Buyer beware
We bought a necklace and earrings set over a year ago. The necklace continued to break , we brought the whole set into repairs 3 times.
The third time they deemed it unrepairable. Since then they have lost the whole set. It's been 9 months of back and forth. They finally agreed to replace it but we need to now pay more for it.
THEY LOST IT AND ARE EXPECTING US TO PAY MORE MONEY FOR REPLACEMENT. The earrings were fine and we could just replace the chain the pendant was on. But again, they cannot return it because THEY lost it. And it will take months before they can get another set sent to a store.
This is a bad company to buy anything from.
Their parent company is Signet Jewelry. Their brands are also Kay Jewelers, Zales, Jared, Banter by Piercing Pagoda, Diamonds Direct, Blue Nile, JamesAllen.com, Rocksbox, Peoples Jewellers, H.Samuel and Ernest Jones.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.
HORRIBLE experience at Blue Nile. My engagement ring needed to be resized and they have had it for over a month now. Unacceptable and horrible customer service where no one returns your calls, including the CEO.
An engagement is supposed to be a happy celebratory time and BLUE NILE has made it a horrible experience.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with discount on future orders. The company that owns People's Jewellers actually called me to discuss my concerns regarding customer service and the issue I was having trying to exchange a ring.
They were very understanding and offered me a egift card to help offset some of the price of the new ring. I am extremely happy with this resolution and have already ordered my new ring.Great customer service this time.
And I will continue to shop at People's Jewellers. Very happy customer.
I purchased a family ring and picked it up a few days ago. I am absolutely not at all happy with it and want to exchange it for another ring.
My issue is that the ring i purchased and the ring i want to exchange it for were both on sale for 30% off until 2 days ago. I am asking to be able to order the new ring at the sale price it was 2 days ago and am basically being told, too bad, cant help you, you have to pay full price now. Doesn't matter that your a long time customer, dont care, cant help you!?!?
I think its just ridiculous that you would not honour a sale price from 2 days ago when i am just trying to exchange the ring i got for the ring i really want. I feel i was kind of talked into the one i got, which is not what i really wanted, and now that i see how terrible it looks, i definitely want to exchange it.
The exchange is not the issue, the fact that people's jewelry wont honour a 2 day ago sale price is very upsetting. And the fact that they cut you off when asking to speak to a manager who may be able to actually help me seems extremely rude.
Is there anyone who can help me with this situation? Again, i am only asking for the sale price it was 2 days ago, not 2 months ago. Its very hard to believe this is absolutely not possible???

Again, it was 2 days ago?? The item number of the ring i want to exchange this one for is 2026****, with the same 3 stones and the same size (6.5).
Can someone please contact me as soon as possible about this issue.
Also, i did email customer service the day i got the ring to exchange it immediately but the email bounced back stating that enail address for people's jewelry customer service did not exist.
If i had been able to reach someone right away i could have exchanged the ring for the sale price as it was still in affect at that time. Which is what makes this entire situation so frustrating.

Poor quality and customer service
I purchased a wedding ring set for $3,100.00 from Zales. The diamond is chipped.
I was dedicated to having it inspected every 6 six months and then Zales closed their stores near me and I missed the last one by 3 months. Great excuse for Zales to not honor their warranty. The closest Zales Jewelry store was an 8 hour drive for the inspection.
Parent company is Signet. They have very poor reviews.

Ive been dealing with a wedding ring situation sing July 2021.. 30 days after purchasing..
both rings have been in shop 3 times each.
Havent even had them long enough to try to have them both in a wedding.
After the 6 th time.. these rings have lost all sentimental value to my fiancé.
We was told we could exchange them for value, but have got the run around what rings we could get.
We have been treated like we bothering the Shreveport store after about the 3 repair.
Yes they went by the company repair issues.
Our issues are the customer service, we purched a wedding ring set that has been back for repair 6 times in a yr !!
I called customer service and was dealing with a lady Dec 6 on this issue, was suppose to get back with me about it.
It is now the end of jan and still havent got a call back.
Called twice in the last two weeks and left messages for her to contact me. Still no response.

Oxford Mississippi Kay jewelers is one of the dirtiest jewelry stores I have ever been in the manager would rather sit on her phone and allow the employees to do the same instead of cleaning. Would not recommend anyone to go into such a disgusting place when I walk into a business I would like for it to smell clean or even look like it

What I had wanted was to be removed from mailings, as Signet owns Kays, and Kays switched a diamond on my wife's ring several years ago. My wife passed away, but Kays still had the audacity to send me a catalog.
The catalog reminded me of the turmoil we had with Kays. I asked to be removed from the mailing list and all of their lists, or I would really go public with the diamond swap. The representative of Signet said my name would be removed.
So for now I am satisfied.
If I do get another catalog next year or after the 90 days. I will really go public with the diamond swap information.

On March 13, 2022. My husband and I went to the Zales store in our area.
Its located in Patrick Henry Mall in Newport News, Va. their were other customers in the store, so we waited patiently for our turn. We were told twice that someone would be with us. Two people came in after us, and they were both helped before us, while we continued to wait.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time, after the second customer was helped I decided to leave. We left and went to another jewelry store. I specifically went to this location because I found a Vera *** ring that I wanted and couldnt find anywhere else. I went to another store and just purchased another ring.
After reading some reviews for this store, it isnt the first time customers have been treated that way. After leaving the second jewelry store I went back and spoke to the manager and I was not satisfied with the half *** apology we were given. In my heart, I think they thought we couldnt afford to buy anything, and didnt service us because of that. I actually spent over $3000 at the jewelry store I ended up going to.
So they missed out on the sale and commission. I do not want to speak to the manager. I would like to speak to someone higher up.

The Kay lab scratched my diamond solitaire and the asst. manager at the Kay store and the customer care representative worked together to make this right for me. They were amazing as it was not either of their fault that this accidently happened at the Kay lab yet they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of!

Extremely disappointing store visit
While shopping at your Greensboro NC store I witnessed the rudest display between 2 employees. There was a young Black women mad at something and was yelling at another employee.
This was extremely disturbing, because even when the person who was being yelled at walked away her rude comments continued. This was loud enough for not only me to hear but other shoppers as well.
If this is how the staff treats each other, what is said about customers.
This incident was at the front of the store, and made me very uncomfortable.
I have been in retail before am never have I seen the disrespect to another employee.

Service plan cancelled without my knowledge
I have had their service plan for 15 years on my wedding ring, I have had it serviced several times as per my agreement-this last time I was told my plan was cancelled (by me supposedly) and future repairs would not be covered. I was even told by customer service rhodium plating my ring was completed when it wasn't.
It sat in the store for three weeks and wasn't even sent out. I wasn't even given the benefit of a phone call telling me they wouldn't send it out.
Horrible way to do business and Kay/Jared will never see another jewelry purchase from me. Unbelievable a company in this day and age would try and pull this maneuver and think customers won't share their experience.

I have worked for Zales jewelers for many years. I loved the company and my job.
Zales was recently acquired by signet jewelers, the same company who own Jared and Kay's. Since the merger our jobs are threatened on a daily basis.
Even if you are achieving your insane goals they set its not good enough and they still threaten. This company rewards cut throat in ethical behavior which creates a hostile work environment.
