Resolved: Failure to deliver on purchase

Update by user Dec 16, 2020

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered. Product delivered..

Original review posted by user Oct 31, 2020
I purchased a rifle in early July. They keep saying they are waiting for the factory to ship. Now (November) I'm hearing that the model is finally shipping and they sell out quickly to new customers. Shouldn't those of us who already bought and paid for that model receive the first ones out? Now because prices are higher they can make more money from new buyers. Meanwhile the sales rep suggested that I cancel my order with factory upgrades, buy the base model and purchase the upgrades separately... for a 40% increase over the factory version that I already paid for.

User's recommendation: Only buy what they have in stock and can deliver that day. Or find other Sig dealers who are not so closely affiliated with Sig.

???????????????WHY?????????????

I am so pissed. I Managed to talk my older sister into getting an AR for home protection. (shes in her 60's) Recommended sig sauer since they are supposed to be one of the best plus she lives close by their company. I convinced her to take their class since she has minimal experience with AR's (taking them apart and cleaning them). That part of the class went ok. Out at the range the instructor apparently singled her out in front of the other students criticizing her every move, hovered over her the entire time, embarassing and humiliating her. He acted more like a Marine drill instructor than an educator, questioning why she wanted this rifle, where she used to work etc. I live 1400 miles from her and I was the one to recommend the 5.56 because it is lightweight, has little kick, ammo is cheap, and can be modified to hold a flashlight, red dot laser amongst other things. Now because ot this intimidating instructor of yours, I as well as my sister will never buy or recommend another Sig Sauer product or their $250.00 class. Respectfully Furious
