Preferred solution: Place an add

Update credit card
- Labeling comments with pissed is unprofessional.
- They came to update billing; description didn't fit.
- They want local staff who understand English.
I personally think it is very unprofessional to tag your customer comments with the word pissed. I came to the site to update my billing info.
That description did not fit me at all but I guess I fit into that category now.
Seeing that descriptive word at the beginning of a customers comment certainly does not encourage them to be positive. So let me fit into that category.can you not get someone in our area that can understand English?
User's recommendation: Try not to fit into their descriptive category
Never received service and tired of automated phone. I need a damn human
- Customer service and response times remain unresolved and need improvement.
- Long-time subscribers may switch services if this isn't fixed.
Still unresolved...need to work on customer service and timely ness on response to their customer base.we should not fill like we are bothering when we pay for a service.my family and friends have been subscribing for years and if this can't be fixed will go elsewhere.
- Local news
- Never received service as promised
Preferred solution: My service every day as promised
User's recommendation: Go elsewhere...maybe what you pay for you will get..
Refund
- Refund pending since December; I called 3 times today and was told 20 days.
- It's been 20 days since December 16, unacceptable on a fixed income.
Been waiting since Dec. to get a refund and called for the 3rd time today and again they are telling me it will be 20 days!
It has been 20 days since December 16th! This is totally unacceptable since we are living on a fixed income!
User's recommendation: Don’t get Shreveport times
Factual response to Royal Alexander: The Second Amendment is what makes all the rest possible
- Argues the 2nd Amendment addressed slave uprisings and English threats.
- Claims gun rights serve elite profits and cites high gun deaths.
Why do you not fact-check your articles? The people who wrote the American Constitution and the 2nd amendment were a group of super-rich Englishmen that had just betrayed their own country and stolen the land from their employers.
They found themselves presiding over a slave state with no tax base and no standing army. If the English came back they would be hung as traitors. If the slaves rebelled, the new country had no military force to stop them. Between the writing of the constitution and the writing of the 2nd amendment, the first successful slave rebellion took place right on America's doorstep when Toussaint succeeded in kicking the French out of Haiti.
There were also, I believe, five separate slave uprisings in Alabama and Mississippi between the writing of the constitution and the 2nd amendment. The 2nd amendment, to anyone who is interested in reality, was a mechanism written by the founding fathers specifically to address this problem. The 2nd amendment proposes that anyone who already owns a gun, can keep that gun - but only on the condition that THEY JOIN A WELL REGULATED MILITIA (if one clears ones head of all the distortion and lying, and objectively reads the 2nd amendment, this is abundantly clear). Because the fledgling country was in turmoil and at its most vulnerable, the 2nd amendment is so obviously an attempt to create a military's force to protect the country from the English returning and hanging the traitors, or from a slave uprising, that today's debate about gun "rights" would be entirely comedic if it hadn't resulted in the appalling slaughter that now defines America as a country of fear, inequality, and violence.
The argument presented in this article is just one more tract in a long series of deliberate misinformation and cynical lying which distorts the entire purpose of the 2nd amendment and deliberately ignores the intentions of those who wrote it. Todays interpretation of the 2nd amendment has no connection with any reality (other than elite profit and greed), and is especially divergent to the purpose of why it was written. Today the gun debate is framed by those that profit from arms sales, people who clearly have no concern for the number of American corpses that pile up on our streets. Every civilized country banned guns in their civilian population as far back as a century ago (but, unlike us, they managed this because they all have genuinely representative government systems).
In an average year, about 34,000 Americans die of gunshot wounds - over a million dead Americans in the last 35 years, more dead America's that our entire military casualties in all our wars since 1776 CE. All this death and all these lies, just to make the five families who own America's arms industry immorally rich!! And we Americans are so inordinately stupid, so easily led, so completely immersed in fantasy, we ignore the truth, believe the lies, and shoot each other when arguing over them!
Unfortunately, America - the last Victorian country on earth - is a predatory culture, it is designed to make profit for a tiny group of people, with systems designed to allow them to prey on the population without accountability. Anyone who has read a history book about Victorian England (1832-**** CE) can see exactly where American politics is today.
