On January 30-2014 I visited this car wash. I asked for exterior wash only, got the ticket and went inside to pay.
as I approached the counter I noticed the woman at the register arguing with the customer before me. when it was my turn, she charged me over $11. I said to her that my ticket says $7.99, how much tax did you add to that? she, in a very nasty way replied that my license plate number is in her system and she charged me what's entered there and if I don't like it, I don't have to go there again, went on to say I only go there once every 4 years.
I was shocked. I asked her if I heard her correctly, she said yes and I can get out and never come back. I asked if she was the owner, she said "pretty much, what I say goes". when I walked out, there were 2 other customers who told me they had similar experience.
Now it's up to you consumers if you want to be abused by her and go there or drive a mile north and use a friendly car wash, where you and your money is respected. I also checked reviews on Google and found out everyone is complaining about this woman.

You are doing the right thing, keep writing. Eventually they will figure out that she is costing the car wash money, not making them money. Probably an absentee owner.
