Rude employee

Went to the Disney Store Outlet in Orlando I think they called it Character Warehouse. The staff was nice except for one old woman. There was a line which was moving right along the people in the line were social distancing and not blocking entrances to other stores. All of sudden the old biddy decides that people will not be allowed to line up, names will be taken and a text message will be sent when you can come back and wait in line. The reason she said was we were not allowed to block entrances to other stores NO ONE WAS BLOCKING OTHER STORES. Someone was on a POWER TRIP plain and simple.

Poor service

I pre-ordered an item 5/29/2020 which has yet to be delivered. I call and am told they now cant find my order which I received the other items in the order. I cant speak with a supervisor. I emailed weeks ago with no response. I have called 5 times. I was told 10/08/2020 the item is being processed, but today they cant find my order and the item is no longer available. I have had to spend so much time and effort on this and am frustrated beyond belief. Disney you have failed!!!!!

This company doesn't offer hassle free return policy.

I am a huge Disneystore.com fan but after today I am going to have a change of heart. I called customer service because I wanted to return some items I placed online. But since they were not defective, the rep told me that I was going to be responsible for the return shipping fees. This is ridiculous since all the other large retailers have a hassle free return policy, companies like Target, Walmart and Nordstrom. I tried pleading with the rep to wave the shipping fee but she refused to help. I could have easily avoided this issue had the stores been open but unfortunately due to our pandemic, that's not option. So I figured the online store would be more helpful and willing to assist me. To make matters worse , I requested for a manager to call me back and they never did. They totally lack customer service.

User's recommendation: Just be aware that even though all the locations are close, you will have to pay for your own return shipping fee.

They don't price match at all. I purchased a Cinderella castle from shop disney.com and later found the exact same thing for 45 dollars less at 3 different sites. As my order had already shipped, I contacted shopdisney customer service asking for a refund of the difference. I even provided proof of the lower price on 3 different sites, and shopdisney basically said tough. Deal with it. They don't price match and thats just how it is. The only option they gave me was to return it at my own expense once it arrived, but as it's a rather large and heavy item, it would cost me more to return it and get one of the cheaper ones so I'm just stuck. With the billions they have, one would think they could at least price match. Word of warning to any would be shopdisney shoppers, make sure you check other places and sites before purchasing from shopdisney, as it will likely save you some cash

User's recommendation: Look elsewhere for the exact same item, but cheaper.
