FAKE EXTENDED WARRANTY

I purchased a 65โ€ Mitsubishi TV on 4/9/11. It was a special that came with 1 year manufacturers warranty plus 2 years extended warranty that was to take over after first year that covered parts and labor. The deal also included a blueray player, hdmi cable and 2 pair of 3D glasses with batteries. I separately purchased a wifi dongle from the same show. The TV quit on 7/24/13 so I called Mitsu. NO WARRANY. I called shopnbc first girl found info gave me item number snbc35-1002S .called Mitsu back this number means squat. Call shopnbc back this time there is no record of any extended warranty and the first girl didnโ€™t know what she was talking about. I have original invoice and plain as day item snbc35-1002s is 2 year extended warranty. Spoke to supervisor at SNBC and will still not honor it. Do NOT BUY FROM SHOPNBC

D2 Internet table stopped working done but

Worst customer service ever...ding but electronic products online if they must be shipped from a 3rd party vendor. A $109 tablet return has created a nightmare... Not working and no one seems to be able to tell me when this can be fixed, or a new one can be sent..don't but the d2 , can't stress it enough! I tried up reach the company numerous times by email. I am angry over excessive shipping charges and them hiding cancer claims on items purchased.

I purchased two necklaces at the same time and they charged me separate shipping on each of them. They had the nerve to ship them in the same package and charge me $11.98 which it clearly did not cost. Necklaces are junk, to send them back will cost me another $6.99. I am looking at my invoice for a number and I see this: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer & birth defects or other reproductive harm. Do not put in mouth. Wash hands after handling this product. Says only applies to California Residents. So since I live in Ohio the chemicals won't cause cancer here I guess!! I am filing complaints with Attorney General's Offices in Minnesota and Kentucky.

Threatening Email from ShopNBC on 6/10/13

I received an email on 6/10/13 from ShopNBC warning me that my purchase history in 2012 showed a 50 percent return rate, and that, if it continues, I will be barred from making future purchases. In no way do I abuse the return policy; there are many reasons for returns - myriad defective items, wrong sizes, misrepresented products, etc. I pay for each return postage, so I do not relish returning. However, I will no longer shop with a company that threatens me and am returning my last 2 purchases. Good riddance, ShopNBC. You've done me a favor. (Not to mention that they take forever and a day to process returns and refund. Infrastructure is terrible, as is their customer service.)

ShopNBC doesn't honor their "30-day" return policy!!!

Closed my account with ShopNBC today!!! Ordered a Sturhling ceramic watch, liked the watch, and elected to keep the watch. Threw away the box (because I have watch cabinets to store my time pieces), and, then, unfortunately, the bracelet of the watch broke (and, I believed their description on air that ceramic wouldn't break???). Called ShopNBC to get the return address, and they refused to give me the address over the phone - but, would mail a return label - until I told them I no longer had possession of the original box. Long story short, though the ordering of the item, and the wish to return a broken watch all happened in many less days than their "30-day return policy" guarantee, I am out the entire price of a busted watch!!!! Never again will I order anything from this shopping channel. Poor, poor, poor customer service ... no wonder they're changing their name yet again - next, they'll be going off the air like before!!!

You are obviously ticked off, and I can understand why. But they have always had great customer service and I can contest to that.

It is true that the packaging was be included with returns. You should know this.

Therefor, please don't bad-mouth a company because you didn't hold up to your part of the deal (to include ALL original packaging and other related items). ShopHQ has a professional customer service.

E-mail from SHOP NBC about returns

There is a current complaint in the web site which addresses the exact reason I am registering a complaint. The tone of the NBC e-mail is indeed threatening as described by the anonymous customer. It addresses frequency of product returns and states the account will be closed if this does not change. Evidently this was a form notification sent to many others. It concerns returns in 2012! I have not made ANY purchases in 2013 and as of now will not be doing any in the future. The customers try to make good decisions about what to buy but cannot know about fits, quality, etc. ahead of product receipt and must pay return charges which can be very high. The decision by this company to send the notice was a very poor one and will definitely cause more than one person to buy from other places and SHOP NBC will lose more money than they ever did by processing returns!

Return fraud

I refused a delivery 26 days ago and SHOP NBC is still billing for the return. It took 4 days for the order to be processed and delivered. An investigation was filed weeks ago and they claim they closed it as the product was on it's way back.DON'T SHOP AT SHOP NBC.I called again today and got the runaround again. I, too, got the run-around from ShopNBC. I made a purchase of two blouses from them, received them and they fit terribly.

So, I immediately returned them. Mind you, I had only made one purchase from this company in the past. I waited several weeks and then checked my credit card statement. No refund.

So, I called my credit card company and they stated that they had not yet received the refund on my account. I then called ShopNBC and inquired about my refund. They stated emphatically that they had no record of my returned package and that there was probably a problem with the Post Office. Strange, since I make purchases with HSN and QVC and have never had a problem like this before.

When I asked the customer service rep what I can to to resolve this matter, I was told that she would send me via email "Claims Investigation Request Form" documents for me to fill out, have notarized and return to them. Additionally, I could not access my account on line with ShopNBC. They informed me that they would fix the problem with my online account, which has never been done. I sent the Claims Investigation documents via U.S.

Mail and sent them Certified, Return Receipt Requested, so they could not say they did not receive them, either. Finally, I got my return posted, but it was not for the full amount. I have addressed this issue with my primary credit card company and they are going to resolve it from their end.

I will never purchase from ShopNBC again. Their customer service is the worst.

ShopNBC is ***!

I ordered a guitar on Jan. 28th using my dad's ShopNBC credit card, then it arrived on Feb. 6th and did not know it was a small guitar. I returned the item on Feb. 7th. My dad tried to call UPS about the tracking number, but they said they don't have it as they always clear that information after two or three weeks. They said they needed the return tracking number in order to return the item, but I kept checking ShopNBC's return policies and they still *did not cover* the whole shindig. Don't order anything on ShopNBC. Ever. P.S. My dad does not have a ShopNBC account and they should do something like HSN did.

BRILLANTE JEWELRY IS *** AND THE 14KT. GOLD OVER SILVER TURNED BLACK AND WON'T COME OFF

A little over 1 yr ago I ordered a 5 stone Brilliante ring that was to have been 14kt. gold over sterling silver ring. Cost about $80 bucks, I think. I wore the ring once, put it in the box and put in it the safety deposit box with my real jewelry. Last month, I went to the bank and looked at the ring thinking I might wear it and to change the stuff I had on out. The '14kt Gold over sterling' had turned BLACK. This ring was never exposed to ANYThING. I brought the ring home and tried to polish it with a polishing cloth and nothing..it is still black as ebony. I emailed ShopNBC and told them of the problem and that I thought it was a piece of *** and I had never had any problem with QVC even on any sterling I had bought turning. They mailed me back and said that my request to return the ring for a refund could not happen because it had been too long and there was no warranty on the item. Well, I never asked to return it. I let them know that. They could have just offered to replace it with another item, just something, but NADA. Their stuff is junk and it is a crying shame that I had to kiss my nearly $80 bux goodbye for a useless piece of ***. Never again and I told them, would I ever, ever order anything from them. They don't care because there are millions of suckers out there just waiting. Never do business with ShopNBC. Stick to QVC.

Too numerour to mention on this line

Hello, Today my problem is with the TESTIMONIAL LINE on ShopNBC. If you notice I have put it all in caps as if I am screaming because that is how I feel right now. On many, many occasions I have complained about this problem with the testimonial line at ShopNBC and no one EVER FIXES THE PROBLEM. I don't know what needs to be done to fix problems with this line but believe me it certainly makes customers feel as if their business is NOT APPRECIATED AT ALL. All I ever hear from representatives from their company is that THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO FIX PROBLEMS WITH THAT LINE. WHY IS THAT??????????? This makes no sense to me. If a company repeatedly receives complaints I would think that SOMEONE!!!!!!!, ANYONE!!!!!!!!!! would attempt to fix the problem. But no, no one does. I have called the testimonial line for over 1 hour today trying to get through (this time) regarding Serta Mattresses without ever getting through, getting hung up on or just being ignored. This certainly makes me feel as if my business is not appreciated or wanted. If that is the case - you have made your point!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At other times I have contacted Customer Service because the sales people can not answer even simple questions regarding products that they are selling and they exhibit the attitude that they don't care whether they know the answers or not. I have even had one sales person tell me, "Well if you don't want it - don't buy it!". When I told this to Customer Service - they were not even concerned. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. What ever happened to the old saying, "The customer is always right." At ShopNBC this certainly does not apply!!!!! I have stated in the past when frustrated about this and other problems that I would no longer shop with their company. However; I have finally reached the end of my rope and patience. If my business is not appreciated then I certainly will NO LONGER FORCE IT ON THEM. I WILL DELETE IT FROM MY AVAILABILITY LOG ON MY TV GUIDE WITH DIRECT TV SO THAT I WILL NOT EVEN ACCIDENTALLY TURN THAT CHANNEL ON. As you can tell I am angry. Angry does not even begin to explain exactly how I feel but at this point in time it is the best I can come up with. I will tell everyone I know that it is not a good idea to shop with ShopNBC and I will tell them exactly why I feel that way. It is not only because of the Testimonial line (however, it is today). It is also because of their sales representatives that can't or won't answer questions about products, being told by them that they have "No idea about product information" when asked questions. This is unacceptable, totally unacceptable. There are quite a myriad of other problems I have encountered with their network and I have no problem passing along that information also. Jewelry broke after wearing 4 times

My husband bought me a pair of nycII earrings costing 247.00 . They were the 'Clicker back ' gemstone 14k or 18k over sterling silver. He bought them for me for Christmas 2012 and the 4th time I went to wear them 2/13 , the clicker back broke. The lever you push down on to release the post went down, released the post and now will not come back up to lock post in. I called cust. Serv and they said all Christmas items were guarenteed until the end of Jan. 2013, sorry, Is there anything else I can help you with? As you all know you don't wear the same jewelry every day. These were special earrings I wore occasionally. Cust service could have cared less. They were very cold and matter of fact. They didn't even want to hear the problem. They just said its past the 1/13 date and they could not help me. We work very hard for our money and consider 250.00 a lot of money. My son bought me the rainbow heart necklace to match, also nycII rainbow collection and now I can,t wear it as a set.I also have the ring and the rainbow nuggett necklace. This is not the first time I have had this problem with cust service and shopnbc. FYI I WILL NEVER BUY FROM SHOPNBC OR NYCII AGAIN. I'M HOPING SOMEONE FROM SHOPNBC WILL READ THIS AND CONSIDER GIVING ME AN EXCHANGE. I WOULD RATHER HAVE ANOTHER PAIR OF EARRINGS INSTEAD OF THE MONEY

Returns

I will never order from ShopNBC again. I bought a pair of shoes and returned. It's bad enough to charge for shipping but you also charge for returns. In today's shopping arena I can order from many companies who offer free shipping on both purchases and returns. Why order for your company, there is no benefit. What a scam! I even contacted customer service to express my displeasure and the generic response from ShopNBC was my comments would be "passed along". To me that means my comments fell on deaf ears. Very disappointing experience. Do yourself a favor and shop another merchant.

About non payments on value pay

I was recently sent a letter in the mail that they are no longer to take Value payments from the company of Shopnbc for the Items that I have already made payments on. Need To get this problem resolovled as soon as possible. My email address associated with the account with the comapny is joyfowler57@***.com They said that they can no longer except value payments for items that I have purchased because of my Debit card. Why is my information given out without verifying who I am

As listed before, they call you none stop. I'm a freelancer and was waiting for my check to clear so that I could make my final payment of the value pay for a camera. They call you none stop and always have an attitude. Then they called my home number, I don't know how they got that as I've never given it to them. My roommate answered and they proceeded to tell her my business about payment is due, going to collections, etc. I was so upset, how dare they divulge my business like that. I called back and gave them my information and the girl was snippy. I called back the following day because I needed to calm down! I asked why they gave out my information like that and she went on to say that they are not a collection agency and can do what they want. It happened to be the same girl. She was such a miserable person that I cused her out. I called back because I wanted to speak to supervisor and she refused to transfer me and kept saying she didn't care and can do what she wanted. I also needed to verify that I had given them the correct information and she refused to transfer me saying that I was "harassing her" the nerve! I finally got someone else and was able to handle my business. They are so rude and unprofessional! I think we should all band together and file a suit against them. There is no need to treat us like that!

Your credit report has all your information, including phone numbers. They have every right to contact you and speak to who ever answers your phone number if you do not keep up with your promise to pay them on time for value payments. Being a freelancer is not an excuse.

Value Pay My ????

These people advertise on their demonstration that this is as easy as 1,2,3. Well during this demonstration they don't bother to tell you that they check your credit on a Debit Card??/ Nor when you speak with the customer service rep. I order an item and went with the value pay and then they take the money from your account and then cancel because they were not able to obtain your credit report?! First I don't want anyone running my credit report without my knowledge and 2nd this is a debit card. I shop many times through QVC and HSN and NEVER have had to go through this. Shame on you ShopNBC for doing things the illegal way. You may keep your *** merchandise and I will continue buying things off the other Shopping networks! Good luck to you folks buying through them and beware!

I understand that you are upset. They did it to me once when I tried to Valuepay an expensive item over $4000.00.

They do state, in hard to find print, that they do check your credit score for large purchases and will deny you Valuepay if credit is not up to their standards. Maybe you have too much outstanding debt, or no credit, etc. My credit score was 720, which I thought was good, but apparently not good enough for the large purchase.

The good part, is that they reexamine it every few weeks and if you pay well and improve your credit the do reinstate the Value pay to your account. Also, I have used Valuepays with many other companies, but none have ever accepted Debit cards, so that may have also been the issue.

The issue is not that they ran my report, the issue is they put the hold on my card BEFORE they approved me. When was the last time you gave a car dealer your down payment and then waited on a loan approval? I am sure that if this practice was explained in the TAC they would lose a lot of potential customers.

Actually, it does state that they can pull credit. On the main product page, just below the price, it will read "or X ValuePay: $XXX.XX - $XXX.XX"

If you click on the black, underlined "ValuePay" the terms come up.

They just don't make it obvious.

It took me a while to find it.

I only know because it happened to me this week. :sigh
