1: I paid about 2500 for a pair of shoes from the Gucci store and I didn’t even have them a year but they started peeling. To me it was no biggie because I had issues before with big brands and they were able to fix it at my exspense but to my surprise this wasn’t the c...
Florsheim - Shoe quality decline
by SadSwallowtail #14243944.5
I have worn the Comfortech Riva style shoe for many years. The last 2 pair I have bought the heel has disintegrated.
I thought the first pair with this problem was just bad luck or maybe I had done something to the shoe.
The second NEW pair I bought had the exact same issue after wearing them three times. I can only imagine that the quality or workmanship has declined drastically which is unfortunate since that is how they built their reputation and maintained sales.

Skechers - It's a scam
by PastelWolverine #14243193.3
I bought two pairs last year, one was supposed to have an in memory foam. The latter stank so bad, I had to throw them away after 6 months of use because it was unbearable, and I read a lot of reviews talking about the exact same problem: in memory foam Skechers stink really bad after barely two days of use. The other ones don't resist the rain at all so my feet were soaking wet as soon as it starts raining or if I walk somewhere muddy.
And after getting wet once they start to stink just like the others. Skechers are pretty expensive shoes and at that price they don't meet the basic expectations one could have. I think they should put less effort in marketing and more in the actual shoes.
Chellysun - Scam site!
by anonymous #14233581.0
Scam website! I saw these guys in Facebook and Instagram and it was too good to be true.
My package was supposed to arrive a week ago, but I didn’t think much of it because of Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Christmas coming up. Maybe they’re just backed up. Well, I finally check to see what’s going on. My tracking number is completely fake and “can’t be found”.
I go to their site to get an email address. Send them an email. Fake email!!
Just bounces right back to me. Tried giving them a phone call and of course the phone number is fake also!!
Skechers - Water not proof shoes
by RespectfulGiantPandaBear #14240481.2
2 weeks ago I buy Skechers waterproof shoes as a gift for my wife. I dream that she can wear them and walk freely under the rain. the shoes are the normal one and don't have any water resistance the socks become wet from any small amount of rain. the shop will not return and I pay an extra amount of money and I gain only bad experience I'm just right to tell others not to trust the label waterproof from Skechers anymore
Herman Survivors - The should be called DUCK boots...
by AgileKillerWhale935 #14231691.4
They should be called duck boots because they quack like *** ducks when you walk. It's something in the heels.
And judging by the other reviews I see, this is a common problem.
I paid $50 for mine and liked them, until they started making duck calls. Shopping around for new boots now.
