Worst meal at a restaurant in my life
My family and I went to the Shoeless Joe's Restaurant in Kemptville, Ontario. We were passing through town on our way to Ottawa and it looked like a good place to eat.
We could not have been more wrong. We had the worst service and food you can possibly imagine, it was unedible from beginning to end and terrible service. The appetizers were cold and the main meal was way over cooked and terrible tasting to say the least. They did not appear to have enough staff and the owner named Jeff was the rudest and most condescending person I've ever met in my life.
It was made very clear to us that if we did like the food or service, then don't come back.
This Jeff guy appeared to be much more interested in watching sports on the large screen TV's located throughout the restaurant than running a sports bar. You will never see me or anyone from my family eating in a Shoeless Joe's Sports Bar & Restaurant ever again and I will make sure to tell everyone I know about this place so they don't get taken like we did.

I worked at the Shoeless Joe's Sports Bar and Restaurant in Kemptville about a year ago and it was a terrible experience. The owner/manager would constatly lie to everyone and cheat us on the amount of hours we worked each week, basically stealing directly from the people that work for him.
I calculated that he stole at least $1,500 from me in the time I worked there and this was also going on with other employees, except for his kids that worked there. The employee turnover has been constant from the moment they opened their doors a few years ago and I can't imagine that every stopping.
They have the biggest lying crook running the place while pretending to be this big upstanding person in the community, what a load of B.S. By far the worst place I ever worked and I feel sorry for anyone working there now.
