Service with Diane and Bob {Manager or owner who knows} I brought the shoes on Sunday[paid cash] and found that Amazon carries the same shoe for 45.00 cheaper so I took back the shoes and explained and the back of the receipt said within 10 days full refund if paid with cash...NOT TRUE!!!!!!!!! I was informed that you have to wait and have a check sent out to you, not till Thursday [today is Monday] and then it takes at least 4 days for it to be mailed.....so they do not stand by what the receipt really did say.....Bob couldn't care less, he was short with me and his attitude was oh well not my problem and Diane pretty much accused me of lying...and pretty much the same attitude...will never go back there again!!!!!!

RUDE

I went to The Shoelace in Algonquin Commons this morning to exchange ugg boots I got for christmas. While arriving the staff told me I could not exchange my shoes because they were Uggs bought from their store. I then proceeded to ask why and they said that it was because they can not exchange uggs. I told the sales lady i had bought them at that exact store and it says on the receipt they could be exchanged. The lady said no it can't. I then asked to speak with a manager and she said no. I asked why and she said because I couldn't. It was so immature and I will not shop there again.

Scam artist shoe "salesmen"

ZERO STARS. Yesterday I bought a pair of work shoes for $105.00 with tax. Today I tried to return them as they weren't as comfy as I thought. I was told that I couldn't return them because they were sale shoes and that it said on the receipt that they were non-returnable. So let me get this right - after you purchase the shoes you receive the information that the can't be returned, nothing posted in the store. They also offer to give me store credit so they could keep my cash.So here's the thing, if I would have exchange the shoe for a non sale item then they would have been returnable by there rules. Of course I am sure they would have found another excuse not to give me my money back.. As the other reviewer said, they are really nice when your buying but, if you have a problem look out. Pretty shady characters if you ask me! Seems from the other reviews that these people aren't solvent or just don't care about their customers, either way they have a big problem. I will be sure to spread the word about their practices. How much do you think this $105.00 sale will cost them?

I had the SAME ISSUE. I purchased a pair of sale shoes for my daughter.

Took them home and they did not fit. These shoes were on sale. Not final clearance or anything like that. Who looks at the receipt and reads it AFTER they have a made the purchase.

So then they offer me a store credit as a resolution which is just another receipt. I really hated to go back in this store but I did just to use the credit. So I go to use the credit to pay for another pair of shoes and she tells me it had to be used within 90 days! COME ON IT IS A STORE CREDIT.

Where did they get these policies! Just so everyone knows you can buy pretty much any of the shoes they sell at this store at Nordstrom. Buy them online and it is free shipping. It is even worth the drive to Schaumburg.

They will take back any pair of shoes for any reason. NO ONE SHOULD SHOP HERE!!!!!
