Bad Product from Sherwood Bedding Group-Limited-Oasis Resort King Mattress
- - Sagging up to 1.25 inches with a center lump.
- - Wedge shape with voided head/foot supports and fibers.
- - Warranty denied for sag under 1.5 inches; other issues not covered.
So HAPPY to get rid of the Sherwood mattress, but warranty would have restored my faith in the mattress business. A new mattress arrived today and hope this will be a better choice, serta perfect sleeper- springview- king.
I purchased a king size mattress from Mattress Firm in Pembroke Pines May 2013. Within the first year noticed significant sagging of up to 1.25", lump in center, floating long thin fibers from the mattress, and the mattress is generally shaped like a wedge with voided space/supports at head and foot areas.
Inspection from Mattress Firm (I paid $25 fee) did not approve my claim due to not meeting the minimum of 1.5"+ for sagging, but they did not accept any of my other complaints (apparently not covered in warranty).
My attempts to call the Sherwood Bedding company have gone unanswered and my recent call to Mattress Firm's manager of customer service has resulted in no return call. BAD PRODUCT and warranty does not take other issues into consideration.
- No response after calls and emails
Preferred solution: Price reduction
