The owner of the company has a bad habit of not returning phone calls, text messages, just has horrible communication with customers in general. He also does not even have a driver's license after a D.U.I. and is on probation, and the "company vehicles" aren't registered in his name, nor insured by him. He cuts major corners in his work, and learns his "expertise" from YouTube Videos and Google.

James is a literal CRIMINAL and operates under acts that violates employees rights. He doesn't report nor pay taxes for ANY of his workers, he pays them cashapp under the table. He treats them as 1099 contractors but DOESNT REPORT 1099s for them. Tax fraud!

So he can be in a "higher income bracket so he can get approved for business loans", literally words from his mouth. Just his way of further tax evasion, not providing insurance for the people who do his work for him, and he just hopes the people he employees are too ignorant to figure to figure it out. Meaning none of the workers are covered by Shelter Guard insurance while working on your home since they aren't even legally affiliated or connected to the company in anyway, shape, or for.. He RARELY ever shows up on a jobsite and does any work himself.

He hires people fresh out of prison, and recently hired a career criminal who spent over 14 years in prison, who got caught stealing from Home Depot in the company vehicle and was arrested on company hours. He doesn't care who works for him, as long as they work for cheap, and most will because they are felons, which he is WELL aware of this upon hiring them. He also hires illegal immigrants to work under the table for him. Do any of these people sound like someone you would want in YOUR home?

In 2014, he was allegedly charged with theft by deception and felony theft by taking, and deposit account fraud regarding a previous roofing business he owned. A link and picture of the article is attached. Don't believe me? Read it for yourself.

He has also fired multiple employees and refused to pay them their last week's pay, via Cashapp or Facebook pay because he doesn't write any checks since he doesn't want a paper trail for his tax evasion habits. He has a history of using subcontractors to perform gutter installations and running up a tab with them, while collecting payment on the jobs from the home owners and not paying the subcontractors. Then he will switch subcontractors as to avoid paying them.. he ran up a 17k tab with a subcontractor who is STILL trying to reach James about his money.

But the subcontractor is an illegal immigrant and can't take James to court to collect his money. James knows this and it's the reason why he feels comfortable enough to ignore calls from someone he owes $15k+ to. All in all, 0/10 would not recommend. Just Google him yourself if you doubt anything I've said.
