I have been trying to contact them for a couple of weeks. No response to phone messages or email.
I booked a resort stay through them. They took my deposit and now I can't contact them to complete or cancel my booking. I finally called the resort and was told I have a booking but others have been experiencing same difficulty. They said the Shelby Corp shut down and it's likely my stay would be canceled without any means for refund.
Any else experience this? Any suggestions?

- Shelby allegedly steals money from renters.
Do NOT rent from these scam artists. I had to cancel my reservation due to COVID 19 and travel restrictions.
The Wyndham Bonnet Creek is also not even open during my travel dates. The Wyndham is giving all owners their points and/or money back while Shelby steals money from their renters.
Absolutely horrible ethics and business practices. Dont be scammed!

Mislead on deposit return
- Policy page shows no deposit return for 0 days advance and no info link.
- Policy changed to 50% refund for 30+ days notice; deposit not fully returned.
Main website in Policy Section only shows no deposit return for 0 days advance and no link for any additional policy information. I can provide a copy if needed.
Later they change the policy during the rental process to 50% if 30 days or more notice. I cancelled 6 weeks before my date and have not received my deposit back in full. Shelby claims it shows the "modified" policy later. But on website it is clearly not present.
Why not have the policy in full on web page labeled "Policy'? I believe I was deceived and warn others to be wary of Shelby's practices.
User's recommendation: Be sure you understand as soon as you book, no matter how much notice given for a cancellation, you are out more than 50%

- The owner refused a refund or comparable stay, and recourse is to fight with the credit card company.
Company allowed me to movey dates of travel. I think there was a glitch in the computer system that didn’t show me the reservation was non refundable.
Worked out moving dates on reservation. They were flexible and I’m glad we came up with an acceptable resolution for both parties.
I’d book through them again so that says a lot. I’d take back the review if I could.
VRBO showed I could cancel with a full refund. Owner would not refund my money or offer me a comparable stay.
They are rude and heartless.
Only recourse is to fight this with the credit card company. Do do business with this company!

After writing Shelby resorts on September 15, 2017 on behalf of my husband William Riggs and myself. We had purchased a short term rental agreement in Buena Vista Florida.
Our dates were 10/7/2017 to 10/14/2017. Since our signed agreement my husband suffered a Basal Ganglia infarction Dysphagia with insulin dependent type two diabetes mellitus with vascular disease. We were unable to travel now or the foreseeable future. Unable to transfer this reservation we requested a full refund.
Attaching medical records and physician letters our request was totally denied. Without income we can not pay the credit card this was put on. No one can predict our health or future. This resort took our money and could not refund anything!!
Giving us a 50% credit will not help with a stroke victim. So much for happy times in Disney World

- Bought a 7-night stay via Shelbyresorts.com/VRBO for Wyndham Margaritaville; no reservation under my name; booking canceled; disputing the charge.
I purchased a vacation from Shelbyresorts.com through VRBO for 7 nights at Wyndham St. Thomas Margaritaville when I got to the resort there was no reservation under my name the lady at the front desk said they get complaints about this company all the time for this same situation I called them immediately and they said my reservation had been accidentally canceled ruined my whole trip had to find another place to stay Disputing the transaction with my credit card company waiting on an answer.
