Problems with merchant data and "Make-A-Page"
- - Bad links to non-existent or deleted pages.
- - Make-a-Page has JavaScript that freezes the WordPress editor and can strip text or break images.
One problem is with the data furnished by one of the merchants I work with. There are way too many bad links to non-existent or deleted product pages.
I brought this issue to the merchant's attention but they just ignored it.
The Make-a-Page option is fraught with big problems. The bulky javascript often causes the Wordpress cursor to freeze when editing a page on your website.
In other cases it causes part of the text on the page to be stripped off and vanish. Then the images don't display properly.

Stay Away from ShareASale.Com
- - Charged $650 for a membership; many affiliates are fake.
- - They claim 100+ affiliates in a month but have zero traffic or sales.
- - Refund requests ignored.
Stay away from this affiliate company. They charged you $650 for a membership but most of their affiliates are fake. Apparently I have over 100 affiliates within a moth but I have zero traffic and zero sales from shareasale.com
I tried to cancel my account and demanded refund. They asked a reason. I told them that I have no sales, no traffic even I have over 100 affiliates they recommend me using their other paid services.
I told them I do not wish to do that and now they are ignoring my messages.
Just stay away from them and save your money

ShareaSale Refused To Pay Owed Commissions
- - 9 months as an affiliate with quality leads.
- - Payment rejected and account limited without warning.
- - No updates, $2,116 owed and litigation planned.
I have been a faithful affiliate of Shareasale for nearly 9 months without a problem. Drove alot of quality leads and sales, spending all of my commissions on advertising for their merchants.
So today, I log into my account to verify my payment for the month. I notice that the payment was rejected and my account was limited without cause or warning. So, I call their company and Bethany, an extremely useless customer service rep, said she would create a ticket and would send it to the managers (who, mind you, aren't there, yet somehow remotely just got done cancelling my payment). I wait a few hours and go to log into my account, and low and behold - I can no longer log in!! So, I call back, and again Bethany remembers me and states that they can do these things without cause or warning, and that these 'managers' would contact me.
No matter what the terms of service are, is it not a NORMAL business practice to contact the affiliate (or partner) to tell them something isn't right? I received no emails whatsoever, and STILL haven't heard a peep.
Also, this Bethany woman stated they do this to protect the merchant. Funny - alot of merchants would fail to exist without the efforts of affiliates. WE go out and promote for them, saving them advertising expense, time, and find their targeted sales.
I am owed in the neighborhood of $2,116.00 - which I am now going to have to litigate to get. Which, I will succeed in getting as I have screenshots and plenty of info.

I had a bad experience with Share A Sale and I certainly can vouch for their unprofessionalism and unreliability. As a blogger I work with a lot of brands.
Any time they mention Share A Sale and do my best to steer them away. There are numerous programs out there, so there really is no need to deal with this sad bunch.
I wish I had visited this site long time ago. Would have saved me much time and trouble.
The things you say about ShareASSale are quite interesting. I would like to add that SAS has just very few unknown merchants. Their tracking algorithms are older than 10 years. I am amazed that this company is still online.
Obviously they need your commisions more than you do.
Beware of this company.
This was posted several months ago, there has been no company rebuttal or an update from AVD 448?
$ 2,116.00 is a lot to walk away from or--as the company--to ignore.
UPDATE??
Thanks,
Steve
