"Me Haha, see you never". Your smart mouthed response to the jeweler doesn't sound like you " can't handle this right now".
In fact, you sound pretty entitled and demanding. You want what you want when you want it.
You have not checked out the internet to see that this is their standard practice and the salesperson went from we could do it now to two weeks from now. So before you congratulate yourself and disparage someone do your homework.
I stand by both comments. Other online reviews are irrelevant.
I responded only to YOUR post. The "now to two weeks from now" wasn't due to your claim of an imaginary upsell and you not partaking.
It was an extreme timeframe given by the jeweler hoping you would leave and not return. They viewed you as a potential bank dispute.
Anytime a ring is resized the metal is stressed. This is especially concerning if any gems are on it.
Their integrity can become compromised and loss is common. The jeweler was not trying to upsell. He just recognized your foul mouth. He did well sending you on your way.
Just because you lost a loved one doesn't give you the right to behave poorly. PS, if you research online, you will see that repointing/resetting after ring resizing is recommended.
