Horrible. Just horrible.
My wife bought me (lease) a pomsky. On the ride home, he the up. At first i thought it was just motion sickness, but i later find out that he had earmites, giardia and coccidia! Also, the representive that went over the paperwork with me failed to go over the page that tells me that although my dog was $2500, i would end up paying $6300 for hom because of interest. I cant afford that! Now im stuck with a puppy i cant afford because they wont let me return him. This company sucks and their leasing contract sucks. How im paying about $4000 than his value? And if i wanna keep him i gotta pay another $462? I will NEVER trust this place again.

Beautiful SICK puppies..
I am absolutely livid with this store. I'm sure some puppies get sick, like children and humans it happens but it is ridiculous how many people I encountered who have purchased a sit puppy from this establishment. From pet supply store workers to vets to the trainers at Petco. NO ONE has good things to say about this place. I wish we would have researched before walking through their doors. My husband purchased a puppy at the Shake a paw a week ago. $1500 in 5 days and 4 vet visits later the puppy is now in emergency pet care for bronchialnuemonia. Showing no sign of progress and will more than likely be put down. On top of spendind ovver $1300 on this puppy. I would never EVER purchase a pet from them or any pet supplies. Considering one puppy is sick all of his mates that shared his kennel will be sick as well and probably still sold. Shame on shake a paw. They do not take adequate care of the pets they sell. Their policy also states they do not refund pets put will give you a replacement of equal value. So one dies and you get a free one. Shake a paw you absolutely suck.

Shake a Paw sold me a sick bunny!
Shake a Paw is not only terrible for dogs, but for rabbits as well. I bought my 2 month old (sup. a flop, who knows) bunny and I was obsessed with him. He was so adorable and was doing great. My boyfriend works nights, so he was perfect and I could come home to him every night. He was so soft and fluffy and happy. About 5 days after I got him, I noticed he stopped pooping. I called the vet the following day and went in the next day. After a vet ($87), an emergency vet ($257), and a super rabbit vet ($480), I found my rabbit to have GI Statis. It's a condition that clogs up the rabbits intense. He is currently in the ICU and it doesn't look good. I am so miserable. I bonded with this amazing, personable bunny. When I called Shake a Paw to complain, they said they would give me a new one and I could give them the sick one back. Ohhh, okay, so I would give them the sick bunny back and they would toss him...or try to re-sell him? NO ONE there knew what they were talking about. My vet even called to complain. What are these people thinking? I am sorry, but I am an animal lover, not hater and I just don't toss out a 2 month old bunny and get a new one. My vet also said she has seen multiple animals come out of shake a paw with major problems. Yesterday, after spending the night over at the vet, my bunny had to be put to sleep and I am devastated. I am now going after the terrible and NASTY people are Shake A Paw. I have read many complaints that said Shake a Paw paid for their dog vet bills, but they will NOT pay for my bunny vet bills.

Is your pomsky really a pomsky? Because the sickly dog they sold to my daughter for $4,000 is not a pomsky, he is a husky who weighs 75 pounds.
He is healthy now. She wants her money back.
I am an attorney in Oklahoma, arriving in nyc soon, and she will get a refund. The hard way (lawsuit) or the easy way (they fess up and pay).I would like to know if you resolved your issues with them.
