I recently purchased an aerospoke wheel, i spoke to henry and he said the wheel would only take 3 weeks for it to be delivered, it took 6weeks for it to get here and when i opened the box it was entirely different color from what i ordered and the paint is chipping so i called SGV, and they told me that they are not liable for the mistake and that i should call aerospoke. both SGV and aerospoke were giving me the run around, at the end, neither company would take responsibility for the mistake. needless to say, i am very disappointed with my experience and will not be purchasing from this company ever again.

Won't issue refund after saying they would.

Dissatisfied with their way of charging me for shipping after checkout, and once I asked for a refund, it's been complete silence from them. I email multiple time and even (somehow) managed to get someone on the phone and say "I will issue a refund and send you an email confirmation", four days ago, and I've yet to receive my refund, or my bike and bars. *** YOU SGV BICYCLES, GIVE ME MY MONEY. The company hours are limited and they do not return phone calls and once you ask for a refund, they stop responding to any emails. Completely unacceptable.

Sgv Bikes took preorder payments and never sent product

I preordered a frame from these guys on 3/26/12 for 4/26/12 delivery. It is 6/2/12 and I still have no frame. Only two mass emails to apologize a week after both promised dates. They will not answer phone or respond to emails personally explaining their lack of service. As of now its 7 days past 3rd promised date. I asked for refund on 6/6/12, I was promised refund ASAP in 5-7 business days. 6/18/12 I contacted them about refund not posting. They sent me refund confirmation done on 6/18/12. 12 days after promised refund. Refund posted 6/22/12. 16 days after I requested I have ordered from them before. I got a bike from them and the spokes were so loose that they were not rideable. It was one of those Retrospec bikes which is their other company. Contacted guy and he couldnt do anything but have me pay to ship wheels back.

Yea these guys are far from professional. they had no problem taking my $230 but would not send order or answer phone or return emails. not a place I would do business with ever again.

FOLLOW UP::: after hounding them and posting on numerous consumer complaint websites I was able to get resolution. ..I got my money back! 8)

I am actually filing a police report against this unprofessional establishment...I am experiencing the same thing! I ordered an aerospoke..its 2 weeks...no aerospoke..no refund...so im callin the popos..already filed them in scambook.com and BBB ....just give me my money back already! rip off rip off rip off :(

2 months later. This is my opinion on their company. Who the *** are you to tell me off? I talked to the guy that owns it before this happened because i was in process of opening a bike shop.

He told me he was the owner, so *** off. Just because you guys are *** kissers dont mean that they didnt treat me right.

Ive had three bad transactions with this company, not you. if you like them do businees with them.

I pre ordered a frame from them, And it took them awhile to get them in, It wasn't their fault. It was the Manufactures fault UNKNOWN bike co.

I've always bought my bike parts there. They did a very good job communicating with us about the delay via email, Asking if we wanted a refund, Or if we wanted to wait. I called SGVbicycles they answered the phone, and answered all of my questions. I also called The UNKNOWN bike co.

And they did explain that the delay was on their end. Not the bike shops fault. I'm very happy with the product. You asked for a refund and you got your money back.

You're acting like they never refunded you. So, it took awhile. But you have your money! Like sigma said, Stop being such a baby!

Grow up! It was never SGV fault. And if you had a bad experience with them before, Why did you even bother buying from them again? FYI they are not the owners of RETROSPEC bikes.

Do your homework before you give someone a bad review.

You just sound mad, because you didn't get it when you wanted it. Grow up!

hey guy they sent everyone a notice that they weren't in yet. it was obviously the companies fault for not sending the frames to them in time. stop being a baby and just buy them localy and pay more.
