Seventh-day Adventists overcharges for delivery

AI Highlights
  • - Bought books from the church's Ministerial Department.
  • - Invoice claimed UPS shipping $12.49; USPS Mail delivered $2.89.
  • - Contact attempts were ignored.

Purchased books from the Ministerial Department of the Seventh-day Adventist church. On their invoice they stated that the books would be shipped UPS and I was charged $12.49 for shipping.

The books arrived via the United States Postal Service via Media Mail and they paid $2.89. While I am okay with a small variance in the postage price I believe that this was deceptive as they claimed to charge for one service and then used another.

My subsequent attempts to contact them regarding this were ignored. It's a shame that this would happen but this unfortunately isn't the first time this "church" has dealt deceptively with the their buying public.
