Horrible Experience wit Poor Execution/Follow Up
I was sold a bill of goods for a significant amount of money with the promise that I would find a job with SET's help and/or that they would not settle until that happened. I recieved nothing of value in return from this company. I've filed complaints with the BBB and Colorado Attorney Generals Office. None of this helped my cause. I would not recommend this company to anyone. All up front sales with no execution or follow up from the company to ensure customer satisfaction. I attempted numerous times to work through this situation with them directly and all they did was pass the buck back to me and indicate they delivered what was contractually agreed upon. Stay away from them.

SET Group / Corporation aka McKenzie Scott
NOTE: THE COLORADO STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE IS AWARE OF SET GROUP AND ACCEPTING COMPLAINTS: http://coloradoattorneygeneral.gov/ This company goes by many names, SET Group (formerly McKenzie Scott), Advanced Career Technologies, Tapit Worldwide, Job Hunting Success, Professional Job Search. SET Group / SET Corporation solicit business by targeting job seekers whose resumes are posted online with claims to create a resume that will drastically reduce job hunting time and a better job. And by using their online reference services. Paul Bokelman's Executive Vice President and his staff, promised to cut my job search time with an "amazing" resume and by using their database (which btw can easily be accessed with the help of the librarian at your local library, you don't to pay their several thousand dollar fee to get this information quickly) I am also told by other dissatisfied customers that Lydia McArthur is one of the sales people who helps bring in sales and that she is supportive until you sign on the dotted line, then simply disappears and is unresponsive when the inevitable issues arise. The problem is in the quality of the resume and of lack of responsiveness. They do offer to redo the resume, however, from all people I spoke to, the resume was either still not good quality or worse than the first version. I was shocked at the poor quality of my resumes. Following are a couple of links that were forwarded to me by other SET victims (they are organizing) that speak of many wrongdoing claims against Paul Bokelman's and his former company, McKenzie Scott, which if you read the comments below these complaints note that SET Group is McKenzie Scott's new name, after numerous complaints. His secret to continually getting away with poor quality products is a loophole in the guarantee policy that acts in his favor and not the customer. If you're currently trying to get your money back from SET Group, BBB should also be pursued, but don't expect results and because of the BBB's set up, companies such as SET are able to maintain A+ ratings. Closed complaints do not mean satisfied customers, as I've learned from reaching out to other SET victims. I'm told by the Colorado State Attorney's office to submit your complaint direct to the State Attorney's office as well. http://coloradoattorneygeneral.gov/ Some links shared with me by other SET Group resume victims that should be reviewed prior to doing business with this company: http://www.pissedconsumer.com/reviews-by-company/mckenzie/mckenzie-scott-lawsuit-filed-200809****5334.html http://randomconvergence.blogspot.com/2007/07/help-tell-story-of-mckenzie-scott.html http://www.pissedconsumer.com/reviews-by-company/jmac-its-mckenzie-scott/complaint-against-jmac-its-mckenzie-scott-200801****1577.html There is also a Linkedin thread about SET Group that is clearly manipulated by a SET worker in which he provides numbeous weak examples in an attempt to improve SET's faltering reputation.
