Company scam shut down

Company closed during the middle of day and didn't pay workers. Sued in Federal court by bank for fraud. Still trying to sell customers overpriced food and freezers using another name. Owners don't care they just want the money to fund their high lifestyles. Promises they cant keep and more. Pounders and Keith Kantor Case Number: 1:2015cv02940 Filed: August 19, 2015 Court: Georgia Northern District Court Office: Atlanta Office County: XX US, Outside State Presiding Judge: Charles A. There are multiple concerns:

1. They are a freezer company NOT a food company

2.

They do NOT own a slaughter house, thus they do NOT control the processing of the proteins nor the way they are fed.

3. They have operated under many different names over the course of this company: Southern Foods at Home, Service Foods, Blue Ribbon Foods, and others..... this is NOT a matter of reorganization but of fraud.

4. Their cost are hidden and they will not DISCLOSE your order prior to getting you to sign up for their financing which is at an extremely high rate irrelevant of your credit score.

5.

The SAME players are in charge of the new company as the old company. A reorganization occurs through the federal court system and bankruptcy NOT by running and hiding.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY as an employee and as a customer. Google Service Foods in Atlanta GA.

Yes now they are called Ellsworth Foods. They are still at the same location. They are hiding from the bank.

Actually they have been forthright with the bank and in the process of paying debts associated with old company. Companies reorganize all the time through out the country and the world.

Sometimes life gives you painful lessons to learn from and become better from. Hopefully this happens to us as individuals, companies, communities, countries, etc.

Learning from our mistakes are key. If you have to fall, try to fall forward.

I love the food and the service.

I can tell you as a customer of Service Foods, I love the food and the service. The guy that you want to speak to with service foods is Don Sipos, he's the best in my opinion. I'd really appreciate it if you'd tell him I sent you, (Mark Friedl). Don does not hide anything, he's very transparent regarding costs. Aside from the freezer that we bought from them, the food costs are pretty much in line with what we were spending anyway and it's much better food. Thanks....and Enjoy the food, it is really good and the service is great.

I read this EXACT same review on another review site. It appears as though employees are going through the internet and covering for bad reviews.

I agree the food and service is good. In order to become a 40% discount customer, they pool you into their web of purchasing other appliances so that the cost of your food is lower.

(Do the math.) I don't need more pots and pans. Just let me buy the food without the other gimmicks.

I stopped ordering food because I'm still paying for a freezer that I am getting ready to sell on Ebay.

Service Foods=SCAM!

This company along with the services they provide is a complete scam! Over the phone they offer you a free organic meat package. When you accept, a salesman enters your home and prepares food for you in your kitchen with your own dishes and does his best to sell you 7 months worth of food at an extremely low rate. He claims there will be one final price with no interest. What is failed to mention as he shoves the paperwork in your face to sign is that you are signing to pay $4000 for a freezer.stay away from this company! You will regret if you get involved!

I don't like rip offs and this company Service Foods in Norcross is just that as I was lead to believe that they would provide a freezer with food for eight months and in that eight months the freezer would be paid for .

This was a lie as they sell your contract out to a third party and charge 19.5 percent interest on the freezer that is 3500.00 I am still making payments on this and stopped the food service cause I feel I was mislead by the sales person.

The food itself was 875.00 for eight months so my payments were 362.00 which included the freezer payment of 122.04 and that is ridiculous as when this third party that financed it charges 19.5 percent then it never gets paid down I feel like I was mislead about the third party entity and that they know what they are doing to mislead people into buying from this company..

Don't do it as you too will become a victim of this scam..

NOT HAPPY WITH THIS SERVICE FOODS

What the person said previously is on the money. Years ago we were scammed by this same company.

A guy came to our house and was very convincing. He cooked the food and We signed the contract and it has been a nightmare. It became a financial burden to pay for the food and asked if we could return the freezer but we could not. They turned us immediately over to a debt collector.

We have paid 4,100.00 dollars and they are still asking for 4,700.00.

You do the math. It was one of the worst decisions that my husband and I have made.
