Community Association Management SFMC, formally, Service First Management & Consulting Inc, as managing agent for Ashton Commons Home Association (HOA) is responsible for the collection of assessments; budget preparation; detailed accurate financial reporting; investment assistance; and advisor to the Board of Directors in financial management of the Association activities. Unethical practice characterizes SFMC as they are charging our neighborhood 320% more than other companies in the area who would offer the same services as reviewed in a comparative outline. We are a community of 28 townhouses with no amenities, and we pay monthly $125 in HOA fees for each home, which totals $42,000 a year. For 2015, this company projects approximately $8,000 for financial management services, which does not include i.e., coping and printing, and coupons, etc. Other companies that I researched, charge about $2,500 for the same services. My emphasizes is “poor fund management;” and we, the community are being RIPPED OFF. I look forward to speak with you regarding this matter.
