SHADY COMPANY MILLIES HVAC
Had an absolutely horrible experience with this company. They came out yesterday to look at my ice maker, took it out of my fridge, and the technician had me talk to a guy on the phone who requested I pay 50% up front.
I did so with the understanding that they would be back out today between 1200-**** to install a new icemaker. Not only did they NOT show, they did not call either so after 1600 I called and got told I would have to talk to a Supervisor. Was told he would call me back, no reason given.. I finally talked to the Supervisor who said the technician was stuck at another job and could either come later on or another day..
Really-NO! I asked to have all but the Service Fee for the visit for yesterday refunded and was told it was non-refundable since it was a deposit. Yes, it was a deposit, for a JOB THAT YOU DID NOT DO!! After going back and forth, he put me in hold then came back and said " I he spoke to his boss and he confirmed that they would not give me money back" that I paid for a new icemaker and installation, of which I have NEITHER!
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I could not even get him to tell me the Service Fee so I could pay it and cancel the other payment. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!
Shady. Now I have to cancel my card, fight with SHADY company that Service Doctor's sent out and I still don't have the problem fixed!
Fraudulent service, customer service, and everything else
It seems everybody who works at service doctors is a liar. A little while ago, I called service doctors and spoke with Kamal/Kemal because my AC stopped working. They agreed for a same day inspection, and by the end of the day, a technician named Amit showed up, explaining how much of a professional he is in this field of work. After inspecting my AC unit, he told me that my control board had died. He said he could bypass the system for now, and then order the part and install it another day, and then he started to haggle on the price. We agreed on $489, parts and labor including inspection, with $200 paid up front. Before he left, he told me he would call me in two days ready to install. Two days later, no call. After another couple of days, Kemal called me to say they would come to install on a Tuesday between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, a week after inspection. I agreed and on Tuesday, a work day, stayed home and waited. At about 1:45 pm, I get a call from kemal saying the part had not arrived and we would need to reschedule for another day a week away. Now I was getting annoyed with this company and said I no longer want their service and would like my money back, minus the $60 for inspection. After continuing to BS me how it wasn’t their fault the part had not come yet even though they had assured me twice already of appointment dates, I got annoyed with kemal and hung up. Another week goes by, and guess who happens to call? This time, Kemal spoke with another family member of mine that they would like to schedule the appointment in two weeks time because we didn’t agree last time and they were very busy (Yea right, probably still didn’t receive the part and needed an excuse). Later I called Kemal back and said I do not want them to come and I DO want my money back. Finally Kemal says ok, someone from accounting will reach out to you about a refund. Yet another week goes by, no call. So I call the company again, and they tell me sorry, the manager is out, please call Monday. I call Monday; manager is in a meeting, will call back later today. No one calls... The next day at work I get a call from Kemal saying we are sorry but because the order was already placed, there can be no refund. So then why was I told accounting would call me about a refund? "Well sir, the owner called you already and explained everything to you and there nothing more to say". No owner had ever contacted me, only Kemal.
I should also mention, after I told this company that I didn't want their service, I decided to order the control board myself; $79 for a new board and it arrived in about 3 days. Being handy, I figured out Amit's bypass, undid it, and installed the new board. Guess what? AC still doesn't work. Finally I thought, maybe the thermostat gave out, so I find an old, basic one I had, and replaced the one I had with it. Instantly the AC came on. Then I took off the new AC board, and put the old one back on... AC still works. Guess Amit wasn't the professional he thought he was, either that or he's just a shyster looking to rip people off.
After telling Kemal this, he still wasn't having it and kept telling me how the owner I've never spoken to told me everything. On top of that, Kemal tells me that it’s my fault because they had the part all along and the problem was that I wouldn't agree to have the technician come. The same part they kept telling me hadn't arrived yet. I told Kemal he's a liar and that I was tired of speaking to him, and would like to speak to this owner that he keeps telling me about. What do I get as an answer? "No, I won't transfer you to the owner, and we won't refund your money, you can decide what you would like to do on your own, good bye"

AWFUL
So bad I had to take them to court. Even worse?
They are avoiding being served and are not registered as an LLC or a company in Virginia. They must be shut down!! This company owes me $1200 and has been dodging all calls, queries and court appearances. They never provided the service I contracted with them to provide for my air conditioning and are now holding my money hostage.
The owner, Amit Jain or Amit Kumar Jain or John Jain or Subhash Jain, whatever name he feels like using at a given time is a fraud and a crook. There are 33 complaints against this company with the Better Business Bureau.

On 1-13 we had this company come out - Jeff, the service tech stand that we needed to possibly replace control board and Relays on our heating unit. We had to leave a $300.00 deposit for a $726.10 charge (quote). We needed heat so we agreed to move forward.
On 1-15 there folks come out and one was the manager , Emit. I joined them in the attic and watched and asked questions as he tested the circuits and amperage flowing through the lines. Emit claimed he liked to test the unit before replacing the circuit board to ensure that was the problem. All checked out and so I said that then we do not need to change the control board after all. Emit said that we did and that he had already done so. This was confusing because he was up there less than 10 minutes before I followed him and he had originally stated he was testing the board first. So, I asked him if I could see the board that he replaced from my unit. He reached in his bag and said here it is. The board showed no burn spots or shorting from resistors, capacitors or diodes. The unit had three relays and was much larger than my current board that he claimed to switch out. I noticed that he and his partner wanted me to give the board back, so I asked if they would mind me keeping my old board. They said no problem. After they left that evening, the heater was still not working.
I called them back and the next day and Emit stated he believes he knows what the problem was and that he would have his folks come back out. This was confusing as how would he know and he just claimed that it was fixed. I shared with him the concern about the control board and that it did not fit my unit. He emphatically worked to assure me that it would and did fit. I researched the parts and realized the part he, Emit, claimed he replaced did not even come from my unit. Totally different brand and would not function in my unit. Additionally, the board in my unit is the original board and I was charged for replacing the board. Emit, the manager, stated that I was under their warranty and that they would fix the heating. He then asked me for my unit's model number so that he could order the proper parts. (if he actually replaced the control board originally, he would have known my unit's model number. I ended up texting it to him on the 16th of January, after he allegedly replaced it the day before.
On 1-18, Marvin came out and instantly saw that I had a loose wire on the thermostat and that we need to reprogram the thermostat. Nothing else was wrong and the heat worked fine. I showed him the control board that allegedly came out of my unit and he laughed and stated that that was not a control unit for your system, and asked where did you get that? I then explained the situation and he suggested that I speak with the manager, Emit about what we need to do at this point.
I called the company and spoke with the owner, Kumal who states he has to believe in what his technicians said they did. He offered to give me back $250 due to the fact that they came out three times. I declined because ultimately I want my $726.10 back for a service that was not done and the fraudulent practice and deception that this company practices is reprehensible to say the least. I have since disputed the credit card charge for the installation of a new control board as stated on my invoice.
I have a Goodman Unit and they claimed to have replaced it and the part they showed me in my attic that came out goes to a Coleman model. Not even compatible and too large to fit my unit. Open faced lie!!!

Service Doctors Air Conditioner Repair Review from Woodbridge, Virginia
This people have the worse service I have seen. The tech Ravi came in and told that he was pretty sure that I needed freon put on just to get me to give him $371.
When I went to Check the unit myself with a friend he had cables hanging from the unit and the filter just toss to the side. The house was still 83 degrees and almost no air coming out. We open the unit scare really bc we r not technicians we notice the part of the insulation had peeled off and clogging the unit make it impossible for air to go thru.
Something that simple that I would have paid whatever if when I got home from work the house was cool. They are thieves and very unprofessional and knowledgable at all.
Service Doctors Installation Review from Manassas, Virginia
Service doctors, all time, all first, Millies, rapid response are all owned by the scam artist and crook Amit Jain. Do not use you will get screwed and probably still have issues.
He doesn't care about customers and cares even less about his employees. When questioned about his shady practices he just fires them.
They don't install equipment correctly or follow EPA guidelines. How these companies are still in business and preying on poor desperate customers is just mind blowing
Service Doctors HVAC, All Service Pro, Millies, US Air, all first i
Service Doctors HVAC, All Service Pro, Millies, US Air, all first inc. All these companies and many more owned and operated by one person Amit Jain.
He lies to customer about the service. That's why his worker lies because in order for them to keep there job they need to sell the product not the service. IF they don't they will get fired or don't get paid. Worker has no safety.
they violated all OSHA policy. Owner doesn't even know what OSHA is. All government agencies are aware of his companies wrong doing and his status but nothing is getting done to protect american consumers by our government. He is silk wile.
please don't trust him and stay far away from him AS you can . BE VERY AWARE FROM HIM.
VERY DANGEROUS BUSINESSMAN. BIG LAIR.
DO NOT TRUST THEM
Service Doctors was called to the house on Saturday 2/28/2015 since the thermostat was not working properly and the heat shut off after trying to repair the thermostat. They came and claimed it was an $800+ charge to fix , I wasn't home so I told the person at house to call me when they provided her the estimate. She called and I spoke to the repair guy named Jeff. He stated the Control/ Circuit Board needed to be replaced. We spoke about what they would be doing and finally he agreed he would change the board for $550 with a $20 tip, I agreed if the part they would be replacing would be a new Lennox board. I told the person at the house to provide me the part number for the board they would be replacing. So, she asked Jeff to give her the part and she provided me the part number. So I can Google it, during the quick Google search, I noticed the price of the part was $165-$200 thus, I asked her to put Jeff back on the phone. Since he stated the part was $550 and I need him to go down in price. Thus, he called his boss and told me they would replace the board for $450. I agreed if the part was going to be a Lennox and within 15 mins they claimed the "new" part was replaced and they provided a description of service (attached) starting "replaced control board." The next day, something didn't add up thus, called back to asked what work they did and they stated they replaced the control board and so, I questioned why was the part number provided not a Lennox part number and they kept on placing me on hold to only finally have Jeff call me back. Jeff stated he provided her the wrong part number and a new Lennox part was replaced. Things didn't add up for me since different stories were being told, so I decided to do a stop payment of the check until we can confirm the work they stated was done was actually done. We called them requesting to fix the issue and confirm what they replaced was a new Lennox board or I would have an authorized Lennox rep come to check if the board was replaced and once he/she confirms, the full payment was going to be made. However, they insisted they would fix the issue on 3/1/2015 by bring a new Lennox board to the property and change out what was replaced. Ahmad and Jeff met me at the house; they were extremely friendly outside and stated they would fix everything. Once inside, Ahmad became hostile and stated he would take out the board if they did not get paid (which by the way is illegal) and tried to intimidate me in my home, I requested Ahmad to move away from the heating unit and called the police (while waiting for the police, I started recording his rant and threats. The police came and stated this was a civil matter but per my request they had Jeff point out what was replaced. At that time, the police even quested the fact the “the new” part was “new” since it had buildup of dust all over the control board (video and pictures attached). The police also asked Jeff and Ahmad, where the so called “old” part was and they claimed it’s been trashed (although, in my phone conversation they stated they would bring it and trash doesn’t pick-up on a Saturday nights). I took pictures of the board with the dust buildup while the police was at the house. After discussing the issue with the police, I was forced to make a credit card payment but did not sign since I did not agree to the charges. The next day, I called an authorized Lennox repair rep to look over the heating system and to confirm if the control/circuit board was replaced. He arrived, looking at the unit and it was clear to him this was not a new part and it was a part that's been with the heating system for years since spider webs (which were undisturbed were still connected to the heating system and the control board) and buildup of dust was all over the control board. He stated, they probably just changed the fuse plug and the board was not changed (the reason for the payment). He provided me a write finding which indicated the board had dust buildup and it was not a new part that was replaced two days ago. I called Service Doctors to let them know of my findings and nothing was done but telling me they will take me to court. I have pictures, videos and documentation from the authorized repair guy which opposes what was said was done and paid for.
After having all these issues with them, I started researching more about the company since I had a feeling this was not their first time. Found out, they have a revolved license with DPOR and one of the reason for their license being revoked was because of a similar issue. They have multiple judgments against them and they have a rating of F with the BBB.
Clearly per the online research and my experience, they are a danger to the public and should not be allowed in any home. Therefore, not even sure how they still have a business license.

Trustful Service Doctors company in Virginia
Our Water Heater stopped working and we didn't know why. I was to worried about it.
so I called Service Doctors and Mr Amit Jain was able to come that same day at evening.Since my home warranty policy couldn't come until the next day which wasn't going to work. Amit was great! And told me to change internal part of water heater. He orders us a new part and installed it as soon as it arrived.
He also work time to go over proper care and maintenance on our water heater machine.
I would not trust anyone else after my experience with Amit and his certified technicians. After my experience with Service Doctors was great and I can say that customer service is well and technicians are professional.
Thanks Service Doctors!

Service Doctors is UNRELIABLE -- and incapable of fixing heat or AC issues
This company should be closed down by the courts. John Jain, owner, has no respect or concern for his customers.
He and his team are unreliable and untrained to fix or repair anything pertaining to heat or air conditioning. Do not call this company. I have been working with them for six months in an effort to get a brand new heat pump fixed, a heat pump that they installed, brand new in July 2013. It broke in the first week of use (i.e., the air conditioner) and it took weeks to fix.
Then when cold weather came, it broke.
The heat didn't work. It has been six weeks and they still don't have it fixed.
Angry Consumer
Stay FAR AWAY from this company. My wife and I called them because our heat was not working.
A Service Doctor technician came out and said our unit was not repairable and that we would need to get a whole new unit, costing thousands! SO we had another company come out for a second opinion and guess what? The wire to the control board had been DISCONNECTED and there was no way this wire could have just come off without someone pulling it off!!! SO, the next day became very warm (spring time) and suddenly the AC wouldn't work (although it worked fine a few days before).
We called the same company that found the disconnected wire and guess what?
The AC wires had been CUT!!!!! We ended up taking photos and are considering filing a police report!!!!!!
Service Doctors of Chantilly , VA
Service Doctors of Chantilly has stolen from me. They are very slick *** men , Do not let them into your home .
Andy popovici will promise anything to get you to give him money which I am pretty sure then just goes up his nose. His partner Jon "Amit" Jain is a dirty little man that cheats his clients and his employees. This is how you do things in India where life is cheap .
If this weird little man could, he would have seat shop workers out changing hot water heaters . He really needs to take a bath, OK sure fine
